Soulmate ( A NaLu fanfiction)

Chapter One:

Lucy Heartfilia sat on her bed in a bubbly mood. The new sorcerer weekly magazine had just come out, and she was on he first page with Yukino. The magazine was titled "Best Celestial Wizards in Fiore" and it made Lucy squeal in delight. She hummed happily to herself, feeling the relief of rare alone time without anyone else in her house. She flipped through the pages and saw an article on love trances, something that she remembered being trapped in back in Magnolia where she first met Natsu. It read:

Love trances-

A new scientific research has found that love trances can only be broken by your soulmate, unless the magic had been stopped willingly and correctly. This has been proved by many scientists and Bora, someone who wrongly posed and claimed himself as Salamander, who claims that a blonde woman was snapped out of his trance by a man with black eyes.

Though it was a small article that didn't say much, it got Lucy thinking. Who had broken her trance? It was a long time ago, so she didn't remember. She grunted in frustration in not being able to remember, though she didn't let something like that ruin her day, so she waved it off.

But... she didn't want to wave it off. She laid down in thought for a good moment or so as her eyes widened in realization. It was Natsu who uncharmed her. That article had to be a mistake... although, she found him likable, reliable, funny, and decent looking...

"Snap out of it Lucy!" Lucy scolded herself.

"Natsuuuu~ Lucy's hitting herself" Natsu's exceed, Happy, flew in.

"Luce, why are you doing that? You're hurting yourself you know" Natsu closed the window behind him. Lucy was ticked off by him not using the door, but had gotten used to it.

"Why are you here, Natsu?" Lucy asked.

"I was going to ask if you wanna go on the job with me and Happy since I'm pretty sure you need rent money" Natsu shrugged. Lucy only now noticed Natsu's defined abdomen, and his six-pack,and his sharp jawline, she also noticed his muscular biceps and his lightly tanned skin.(A/N this is so weird to write, I'm not going to lie * shrivels up in uncomfortableness in the corner)and how he cares that she needs rent money...

"Luce?" Natsu asked, waving his hand in front of her face.

"What? Oh yeah, sure. I'll come" Lucy plastered a fake smile on her face. All the bubbliness from earlier had left her entirely.
