I sat up in bed and looked over to see Miro still asleep. I smiled at him and kissed him. I got out of bed. It was the first day of offseason. I don't know what we are going to do. I went to the bathroom and took a shower. I did some casual makeup and put my hair up in a messy bun. I got into some jean-shorts and a cropped Miro Heiskanen shirt. I walked out and saw Miro lying on his phone. I sat next to him and he looked over at me.
"Good morning," I smiled.
"Good morning, Babe. What do you want to do this offseason?" He asked.
"I don't know. I'd like to see my family, but I don't know. I kind of want to meet your's," I said thinking.
"I haven't told them about you," He said nervously.
"Why not?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"Because they liked my ex-girlfriend a lot and were upset with me when I broke up with her," Miro said.
"I'm sure it will be ok," I said.
"I don't know," He said putting his phone down.
"What if we invite both of our families to our house and we can buy them tickets," I suggested.
"Well..," He said.
"Come on! It's a good time for your family get to know me and my family!" I said smiling.
"Fine, I'll get in contact with them," He said sitting up. I smiled as he got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I went into the kitchen and made eggs and bacon. I called my parents and brother and they agreed to come. I put them on two plates and Miro walked in.
"Thanks," He smiled.
"Did you get to talk to your family?" I asked.
"Yeah, they said they'd come. Did you talk to your family?" He asked.
"Yeah, they'll be here," I smiled.
"Good," He said. We ate together and talked for a while.
