Offseason

Good Morning

     I stood making breakfast by myself. Suddenly Miro came up behind me and put a necklace around my neck. I smiled and looked down at it. It was gorgeous. It had two pendants on it. One of them had a diamond and emerald Stars' logo. The other one had a diamond and emerald jersey that had my name and number on it. I looked at him and a tear ran down my cheek.

     "Good morning," He smiled. 

     "This is gorgeous," I said hugging him. He smiled and ran his fingers gently through my hair. 

     "I love you," He said. 

     "I love you too," I smiled. He kissed me.

     "You're amazing," He smiled.

     "You have no idea how amazing you are," I put my hand up on his cheek. He smiled and kissed me.

      "I finished breakfast," I smiled.

      "Alright, I'll round up the family," Miro smiled and walked to the living room. I put the breakfast on the plates and took them out to the more casual dining room. We all sat down and ate while small talking. After breakfast I was washing the dishes and putting them in the dishwasher when Miira came over to me.

      "That necklace is so pretty! Where did you get it?" She asked coming up and looking at it.

      "Miro actually gave it to me this morning," I smiled. 

      "Wow, you really are a lucky girl," She smiled. 

      "Your brother really spoils me," I said with a grin. Miro walked in and saw her admiring my necklace and smiled. 

      "You like it?" He asked. 

      "It's pretty," Miira said.

      "I love it," I smiled and kissed him. 

      "Not as mush as I love you," He rubbed my back.

      "Aww," Miira said as I kissed Miro.
