*PREVIOUSLY ON LONG ROAD*
"Now What was said at the booth?" He spoke backing me into a wall and putting his hands around my neck.

*NOW ON LONG ROAD*
"Boy lemme go" I said trying not to make eye contact with him.
"You all bark no bite sha" he replied shaking his head chuckling under his breath.
At this point I was annoyed because one my waffles are getting cold. Two he playing too much I ain't good with love. I sure don't want to fall to deep for this man.
See I never really felt loved except for with Kierra and my mom. Kierra was my ride or die. Our moms were bestfriend's so you know we were raised together. Kierra never spoke once about her having cancer. She always looked happy,never was a dull moment with her. Her mom treated her horribly. Ever since her dad left her mom went down hill. Drinking,smoking, staying out all night, and bringing random men into the house.
Her mom never took her to any of her appointments and she was aware of Kierra having cancer. She didn't care. My bestie died right next to me.We had a sleepover that night. Next morning she wouldn't wake up. I called the ambulance and thats when they explained what happened.
"Say - - ma you good?" Ken- I mean Youngboy asked me. I didn't even know I was crying to be honest.
"Huh - - mhm yea I'm ok" I assured him but I was lying he couldn't see it.
"Nawl you ain't we can leave. If you want?" He was trying to comfort me.
"Uhh - - yea l-let's go." We walked out the bathroom together not caring what the gang would've said.
"Ooooo look what the cat drug in" boomer said being extra.
"Y'all was in there for a long time." Marianna spoke up. I didn't pay any attention.
"I'm ready to go y'all." I said a little above a whisper.
"Uhh B what's wrong?" Marianna asked me. I couldn't tell her. She didn't know Kierra died . Kierra was like her big sister. She would be heartbroken.
"I'll explain later but can we leave?" I said with my head hanging low so nobody would tell I've been crying.
"Yea let's got lil mama." Montana said signaling everybody to leave. We all got out the booth while Kentrell was gone I paid for the food because he wouldn't let me.

When we got back home I got everybody to sit down in the living room with me. Except Youngboy. I had a feeling if me and him ever fell out he would use it against me. Imbuis-te listening to my gut feeling.
