"Sharna Burgess, will you be mine?" was the question that Sharna couldn't stop thinking about. Paul Kirkland, whom she had met through a friend, had asked her out the night before. She had said yes within seconds. Paul was an amazing dancer and that was a major turn-on not to mention he seemed really sweet. Sharna was anxious to see what he had planned for their first date. "I wonder if he is a gentleman? Or maybe just casual? What am I going to wear? Oh my god. How should I do my hair?" she asked herself. Sharna picked out a beautiful black, sleeveless midi dress. Then she gracefully curled her long, red hair. Her make up was light, but not too light. And she even had her nails done in a French manicure. Hopefully she hadn't overdone it, she would be especially embarrassed. "Paul is going to be here any minute... I'm freaking out, Peta." she texted her best friend of eight years. "You'll be fine! I'm sure you look hot, babe. Go get him!" Peta responded back. Suddenly Sharna saw lights through the door's window and a shiny limo pulled up. She broke out into a dance, "Sharna's got a man, bitches." she said to herself. Paul rang the doorbell, catching a glimpse of Sharna's celebratory dance through the door's window. She walked to answer the door, pretending nothing happened.

"Damn! I mean.. Wow. Um. You.. you um. You look beautiful." Paul said speechless. "Haha! Really? Thank you so much. You look great yourself." Sharna said with a wink. "Me? I do? Thank you!" Paul said, shocked that she seemed into him. "We should get this date started, you seemed pretty excited in there - dancing and all." "Oh my god. You saw that? Wow. I'm such a loser. I'm sorry." Sharna replied, embarrassed. "No. It was kind of adorable actually. Don't be sorry! Let's go be losers together." Paul said without hesitation.

The two walked to the limo together. Paul reached for the door's handle and gestured for her to get in. "Aw! Thank you." Sharna said with a smile. "You're quite welcome." Paul replied. Paul slid into the seat next to Sharna and gently closed the door. There were numerous seats in the back, but Paul wanted to sit as close to her as he could possibly get. "So Paul, what are the plans for this evening?" Sharna questioned. "Well, I was thinking maybe we could go to the beach. Maybe, if you want, we could hold hands and just look at the stars. But, we don't have to. I mean, if.." Paul said nervously. "That sounds perfect. I hope the beach is empty." Sharna responded, flashing her pearly whites.

Soon, the couple arrived at the beach. Luckily nobody else was there because they both wanted to be alone. As they began to walk through the sand, Sharna tossed her heels down and reached for Paul's hand. She could tell he was nervous, his palms were sweaty, and she could hear him swallow nearly every time she looked at him. "Don't be nervous. I'm not that special." Sharna said trying to make him feel better. "You can tell? Sorry. I just.. I really like you. And you are special, there is nobody out there like you. I honestly couldn't believe you said yes to this date." Paul responded quickly. "You know, you're really sweet. Maybe the sweetest person I've ever met." Sharna said with a smile.

They held hands and lie on the sand, gazing at the stars above. "The stars are so beautiful tonight." Sharna stated. They both sat up. "Yes, yes they are. They remind me of you." Paul said brushing a piece of hair behind his date's ear. "Paul?" Sharna asked. "Yes?" Paul questioned. "Kiss me." Sharna whispered romantically. Paul held her face and softly kissed her. They looked into each other's eyes and began to kiss more passionately. "I really like you too, Paul Kirkland." Sharna said whilst they kissed. "When's our next date?" Sharna asked with a wink.
