As soon as I enter the house I get punched in the jaw. I let it happen at first, thinking about what Blake had said. Should I fight back? But what if he loves me still, even just a little bit? "A drunk mind speaks a sober heart" is stuck on repeat in my head as I contemplate as if I should fight back or not.
I catch his fist before he can hit me again, he looks as shocked as I feel. I warn him, "Try and hit me ever again and see what happens." He gets really ticked off by that sentence and try's to hit me again, but I doge it a punch his gut, knocking the wind out of him for a good 8 seconds. That's when I decide that I've had enough of his crap, "I'm sorry that you can't handle the fact that your wife died. But that does not give you the right to blame it on me. I had nothing to do with her death. I chose to believe that it was the drugs and alcohol making you believe that it was my fault, but even when you weren't drunk or on something you would still hit me and talk shit about me." I stop taking in a breath of air, "Next time you try to hit me or talk shit about me, I will hit back. GOT IT." He stands they're shocked for a few moments then slowly nods his head and walks away.
I walk calmly to my room and sit there. I don't know how long I sat there before finally falling asleep.
My uncle slams the door open screaming for me to get up. I just stare at him in shock. "He must not remember anything from last night." I though to myself confused as to why he was still acting this way. But at least he didn't hit me or say anything bad about me so maybe he does remember yesterday.
I get up and take a quick shower before picking out my outfit for the day.
I put on my outfit before doing a little bit of makeup.
I walk down stairs grab my bad and an apple to eat on the way to school. I hear Madelines jeep horn letting me know it's time to go to school. I hop in the car and explain everything that happened yesterday at the fight club to her. She kept rambling on about how me and Blake would make a cute couple. I think she's on something because me and Blake would not be cute like wtf.
Once we arrive at school everybody starts to stare at me weird and I can hear little whispers like, "She can't be Stinger" or "If she's not Stinger then how'd she learn to fight like that?" I swear the next person who whispers something and doesn't say it to my face were really about to have problems. I'm pretty sure Madeline was even more mad than me because she is never this quiet unless she's really trying to hold her self back from going off on a hoe.
Next thing ya know, her comes the hoe of the school, Laylah, "I heard Reagan's paying that Blake kid to hang out with her to make her popular." This must of drove Madeline off of the edge because the next thing you know Madelines on top of Laylah, throwing punch after punch, rambling on about how to keep my name out of her mouth and stuff like that. Honestly it was kinda funny to see Laylah finally get the reality check she needed badly.
Once I decided Laylah had learned her lesson, I pull Madeline off of Laylah. Madeline try's to jump back at her, but she knows I'll just hold her back. I look behind me and see a crying Laylah, I bend down and whisper in her ear, "Next time you talk about somebody make sure you say it to their face. If you too scared to say it to their face the keep their name out of your mouth. Understand?" I must have scared her because instead of giving me a smart ass comment all she did was nod her head and look down at the ground.
That's what a hoe get's for keeping peoples names in her mouth.
I look at Madeline and we both burst out into laughter and head to our lockers.
The first four classes of the day went by really fast and next thing I knew, it was already lunch time. Me and Madeline head out to our usual tree that we sit by. We start talking about random things and then I look to my left and see Blake at that same tree he was at yesterday talking to a few boys. I chose to ignore it and go back to listening to what Madeline was saying.
She said she had something important to tell me during second hour so now she's finally telling me, "Okay, so theres this boy I met at my dance class and he's really cute and... I GOT HIS NUMBER!!!" she basically screamed the last part in my ear.
"OMG THAT'S GREAT". I say in a sarcastic tone. She just keeps rambling on and brought up this tattoo he had with a rose and guns on it. At first that sounded really familiar until I remember where I had saw that tattoo.
Blake had the same tattoo on his chest. He was wearing a V-Neck shirt yesterday so that tattoo was basically the only thing you could see. I soon connected the dots and realized that Blakes the leader of the "Guns and Roses" gang, and the boy Madeline met was apart of the gang somehow. I explain everything to Madeline and she said the simplest thing anybody could say. "Cool". I was freaking out cause that's badass to be practically dating a gang member. We both start making jokes about joining the gang and stuff until the bell rings for us to go to our next class.
