Otto went downstairs with Rian. The monster heading into what looked like a living room area where a few more monsters were sitting.
"Guys this is Otto, be nice" Rian said and a very muscular and tall alien looked up, smiling at Otto kindly,
"Hey, I'm Zach..."
"I'm Issac!" A more gangly looking monster said who was cuddled into Zach's side, "Kian, Matt and Clyde are out, otherwise they'd say hello too"
Otto waved weakly. The monsters all seemed very nice which was odd to Otto. Were they just waiting for the right moment? Were they going to fatten him up? He was rather skinny.
Otto whimpered a bit and hid behind Rian. He didn't know why, Rian was as much of a monster as the others but he felt safe with Rian, maybe it was cause he had been the one to save him.
"We won't hurt you" Zach said reassuringly and Otto slowly nodded,
"Can I go back to my room?" Otto whispered and Rian nodded,
"Course you can, I'll bring you dinner in a few hours" The monster said and Otto smiled weakly, heading back to his room. The monsters didn't seem dangerous but that was ridiculous, he'd been told his whole life that they were.
But he was starting to second guess that.
