''Miss'' , manik yelled as he ran behind this woman in beige suit to catch up with her pace

She turned around as manik stopped right in front of her,'' I guess you dropped this'', he said holding forward a blue scarf that landed right in front of his feet

''I hope this was mine but this isn't mine mister'' , she said as he turned back to enter into the office building

Manik looked at the retreating figure and then at the scarf in his hands, the scarf looked costly and luxurious , he decided to stuff it in his pocket later deciding to give it to lost-found department as it must belong to one of the office employees.

Nandini entered the office of the new marketing director but to her dismay he was late , deciding to visit again once he comes back she turned around to leave only to see the wooden desk name plate lying on the corner table by the side of the table still wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard .

Nandini's hand itched to pick up the nameplate but deciding that it was not her job she opened the door to leave

As soon she opened the door to leave she bumped into someone with a sensation of burning on her chest, screeching in pain she looked down only to find coffee all over her white shirt

''Oh sorry nandini, I am so sorry'' , it was soha from HR, she was not very fond of her and seeing that her white shirt was now stained with coffee and she probably also had bruises on her chest now she could not help but scrunch her nose in disgust

''I am sorry nandini'' , soha said trying to wipe coffee off nanadini's shirt making her step back to keep soha away from her

''It is alright'' . Nandini said as she left in a composed manner hiding all her frustration

This soha girl was getting on her nerves

Entering in the washroom, she looked up in the mirror

Her white shirt was now stained and there is no way she can step out in that wet white shirt with coffee stains.

''Aargh '', nandini pulled some tissues out of the dispenser as she tried wiping off her shirt

There goes her impression on new director

Manik entered his office only to spot a lady figure sitting in front of him opposite to where his seat was

''Good morning'' , he said to get the attention of the lady making her to stand up and turn back

''Morning'' , she said coming towards him forwarding her hand.

''Welcome mr.manik malhotra, office is happy that a personality like yours will now be leading the marketing department of this branch, we are privileged to have you'', soha said

Manik shook his head as a sense of respect as he moved towards his chair. There was a time when he dreamt of sitting on this chair, it took him 10 years to get there ,he turned behind to place his coat on coat hanger as he settled on his seat

''Manik dekh lena,ill become marketing head before you'' , nandini said with her head in his lap as they both sat on the balcony floor enjoying the sunset

''Accha'' , manik said lost in taming her lock

''You don't believe me'', nandini said jolting up from his lap

''No , I do it is obvious you are capable of more, par marketing director toh only I will become before you.''

''Huh'', nandini huffed as if not believing him

''Well both of us can become marketing director at same time in different branches '', manik said pulling her back on his lap

''No manik, that will make us live in different places, we will live together in this hamesha wala ghar.'' nandini said tilting her head a little to give him peck on his lips.

''There you go'', soha said bringing him back on earth, soha had already set up his wooden nameplate on his desk

''Miss soha'', manik said pointing towards the cup of coffee on his table

''Oh yeah, I bought coffee for you but I spilled it on marketing distressed management team head, miss nandini murthy , she might be a little late in meeting you.''

''Thankyou miss soha , but I do not drink coffee '', manik said

''Okay ill take your leave now, btw note maken mr malhotra do not drink coffee '', soha smiled and turned back leaving his cabin

Manik would be lying if he said that he did not knew that nandini still work here, or she was the marketing distressed team head, and it would be a total lie if he would say that he did not intentionally crossed teams working area to get a glance.

Infact he has spent hours choosing from his 10 similar white shirts which looked similar so much so that no one can even tell if he has even changed the shirt to find the best shirt to meet her after two years.

He wondered what she will say,

More importantly what she will feel
