i wake up to the ear-deafening sound of my alarm clock. a light groan then escaped from my lips, i flipped over and slammed my palm against the bright red button that read off. i then sprung up from my bed, and almost slipped on the floor because of the clothes that were scattered all around. i really need to get this room cleaned up, i thought to myself. my feet brought me to my closet, i opened the closet door and tried to look for a 'cute' outfit. nobody ever pays any attention to me so i don't need to look pretty. i grabbed the outfit that was closet to my body, and quickly put it on.

i then went into my bathroom to brush my teeth and comb my hair. i put my hair into two braids and ran downstairs. as i walked downstairs, i was then hit by a sweet crispy smell that filled the air. i recognized that smell.
"waffles?" i smiled at my mom.
"you and julia's favorite." my mom grinned. julia is my surprisingly not annoying sister. she used to get bullied, which is why i always need to look out for her.
i grabbed and waffle and poured myself a glass of water.
"speaking of julia, i woke her up fifteen minutes ago. she should be downstairs by now," my mom spoke.
then, julia emerged through the bathroom door. what took her so long? as she got closer to me, i noticed what took her so long. she put on makeup.
"what's on your face?" my mom questioned.
"totally not makeup," julia replied, hiding her face with her hands. i gave julia a thumbs up to let her know she did a good job, and her eyes lit up and she smiled from ear to ear.
my mom shook her head, and passed julia her waffle. julia thanked mom and we both finished our waffles and i took my last sips of my water. then, we heard the bus pull up. me and julia kissed mom goodbye, and sprinted outside. since me and my sister go to different schools, we had to go in different busses. as the busses doors flew open for me, i walked and the bus and my eyes watched for my best friend kelsey. i've known kelsey since i was three.
"y/n!" someone shouted, i found the voice that repeatedly called my name, and it was kelsey. i walked over to her, and dropped my backpack and sat in the seat next to her.
"y/n! look at this boy i found on tiktok, i think he goes to our school." kelsey exclaimed, she pulled out her phone and entered her passcode. after logging into tiktok, she went to her liked videos and showed me the boy she found.
"kelsey! that's tony lopez. you realize his brother is ondreaz, right?" i laughed.
"oh yeah!" kelsey responded, being dumbfounded of herself.
kelsey just started ranting on and on about how "cute" ondreaz was. not to be rude or anything, but i wasn't listening.
after a fifteen minute bus ride to the school, the bus finally pulled up. then, after the slow kids took their sweet time to get off the bus, it was finally me and kelsey's turn to get off the bus. i really didn't wanna go to school today, but for some strange reason i felt like something was gonna happen to me today. but, i think i always feel like this. it's probably because i'm the quiet kid and i'm always hoping somebody will finally talk to me.
