I haven't read the manga so I'm going by the anime. When I have caught up to the anime, I'll probably place this book on a hiatus until there's a season 2 or I read the manga.

Narrator's POV

Hitomi was walking to the store to get more vegetables for the cooking club and the cultural festival. Their supplies had run out after feeding An. 

Hitomi: "Where could An have gone? It's already daybreak and she just left on a note."

A groan could be heard from a boy a kilometer ahead of Hitomi. 

Y/n: "That stupid redhead. I swear I'll get her back. She's only lucky that it's dawn outside and I'm severely weakened. I didn't even get a chance to flirt with her before she pulled a spear out of nowhere. Calling me a goddamn human. At least get your species right"

Hitomi ran up to the boy at an incredible speed.

Y/n: "A pretty girl is running up to me. Alright, chance."

Hitomi: "Are you alright? You're badly injured"

She searched through her pocket and took out her handkerchief. She proceeded to pat down the blood near his left eye.

Hitomi: "What happened? You're bleeding so much"

Y/n: "Some girl attacked me assuming that I was a human that caused her species to become extinct. She put up a good fight though."

Hitomi pauses. Y/n begins to lick the red head's blood.

Hitomi: "You're not human?"

Y/n: "Nope, but neither is she. I gotta say though, her blood is delicious. What is your race?"

Hitomi: "Human. What are you?"

Y/n looked up and down at Hitomi's school outfit.  

Y/n: "I'll tell you later. I'm transferring to Seton Academy. It's easier for me if I tell everyone while I'm there. "

Hitomi: "Okay"

Y/n stood up and grabbed her hand causing her to be dragged into his chest. His other hand wrapped around her waist.

Y/n: "My bad. I may have used too much strength into that pull."

Hitomi blushed and shook her head side by side.

Hitomi: "No. You're okay... Then see you later at school?"

Y/n: "Yeah. I still need to finalize some papers but I'll attend the cultural festival"

Hitomi: "Then you should check out the cooking club, we're having an all-you-can-eat buffet"

Y/n smirk and cocked his head up, looking a bit down at Hitomi.

Y/n: "I'm looking forward to it. Then, see you later"

Hitomi: "Bye"

They both walked away in separate directions.

Y/n: I missed my chance. Its way too hard to hook up with a nice innocent girl like that. Even so, what was her name?

Likewise,

Hitomi: Ahhh! I forgot to introduce myself to him!! I don't even know his name! Stupid, Stupid Hitomi! It's because he pulled me way too close to his chest, but why was he so cold? But his muscles were really fine and toned.

She blushed and released steam from her head. Her brain shut down and she increased her walking speed.
