Qingshan was quite surprised that the mysterious girl in his dreams was real. How could he dream about someone before he even met her? He never believed in fate and never believed in love either. He was only a 17 year old after all and it was always only him and his mother.

The next morning Qingshan got up super early. He grabbed his backpack and before his mother could say anything, he was out the door. He quickly rode his bike to the school's front gates, making sure he was one of the first ones there. He walked back and forth. Paced back and forth. Where was she he thought? There's only one gate and ten minutes left.

Qinghe saw Qingshan from afar. He ran up to the worried boy and said "Bro, you were so good yesterday. I think Coach Wang will announce the team today. Let's hope we make it together and end our last year in high school strong!"

Not paying attention to him, Qingshan says "yeah yeah yeah" while looking around. "Why are you here so early? Aren't you going to go class yet?"

"Don't worry about me bro...I'll meet you there." Many more students came rushing in as the five minute bell rang. Qingshan looked around again. He kicked the ground from waiting so long from anger as he didn't see Ru shi and headed to class.

The summer hours were long and the sun was hot. Qingshan just kept looking out in the hallways to hopefully get a glimpse of Ru shi. Qinghe who was sitting next to Qingshan the whole time said, "hey why are you so weird today. You're usually weird, but you are even weirder today."

"Ah nothing nothing leave me alone." He says as he puts his head down with one eye popped open. Qinghe stood up and went by the window. He peeked and hurriedly ran to Qingshan. Qinghe whispered in his ear, "Pst—I see Ru shi." Qingshan quickly got up to look out the window. Qinghe bursted out laughing. "Wow! I have never seen a brother like this!!! Hahahaha" he continually laughed and grabbed a hold of his stomach. Qingshan playfully punched him in the stomach.

During the break, Qingshan went to the teachers room. He spotted Mr. Lun. "Mr. Lun, did you still need me to do the interview?" He asked respectfully.

"Yeah. Didn't Ru shi interview you yesterday?" Mr. Lun answered while working on his laptop.

"No...nothing. I can do it now, sir, since I am free."

"Let me call her home room" Mr. Lun said while dialing a number. "Hey ya this is Mr. Lun. Tell Ru shi to come see me...and tell her to bring her interview book!" Mr. Lun hangs up the phone.

"Eh go sit over there. She'll be here shortly," he said as returned to his computer.

"Yes sir." Qingshan quietly sat down and looked around the room. Qingshan sat and sat. Where was Ru shi? Into the teachers room was someone else.

"Hi Mr. Lun. I will be interviewing Qingshan instead." said the girl respectfully.

"Help yourself," Mr. Lun said pointing at Qingshan.

"But—sir...umm never mind," said Qingshan. The interview only took about ten minutes. Qingshan thought he probably made a really bad impression on Ru shi and she was avoiding him. Qingshan sighed and walked out of the classroom. Spotted near the bushes, he saw Ru shi hiding.

"Hey! Little girl." She jumped.

Bowing, she replied, "oh, hi."

"What are you doing?" He asked her staring intently and walking closer to her.

"Um, I'm just waiting for my friend...Hey! Jiyue!" Ru shi shouted and grabbed a hold of her friend's arm. The girls both walked passed Qingshan.

The hours went passed. Qingshan wasn't so motivated to keep studying. He never liked studying anyways.
