A man walks down a street with his daughter as she was walking along with him. She then yawned and said " Did you have a good day?" The girl nods and says "Daddy I'm tired." He says" It's not that far sweetie." As fog rolls through their path. " It didn't call for a fog? Sweetie, don't let go of my hand no matter what." She nods.
They walk through as the fog gets thicker as they end up in a dead alley the father says" I swore this was not here before." They turn around to meet red eyes in the fog. The father then says" who are you!?" They come closer as the girl starts to shake "Don't come any closer or i'll do something I don't want to do." A gun then goes across the floor as they say" Kill your daughter and I'll let your wife live'' '' What?! You son of-" They then say" I would watch your Language there's children around.They laugh and say". Kill your daughter or your wife dies or live with the regret that you let your partner die." The guy then picks up and looks at his daughter and says" This will only hurt for a bit sweetie. I'll make sure to put your favorite toy on your headstone." He then points it at his daughter.

*BANG*

They then laugh as they say they laugh and say" easier than expected who said you couldn't have fun while you work."
Another bang was heard as the figure disappeared into the mist.

Beacon~
The next morning~

A white haired man dress in nice attire was doing paperwork till a woman's voice was heard through the intercom. " Sir, the general wants to see you." He sighs and says" Send him in." He then puts his hand together as a male comes in with army-like clothing as the white hair male says" ironwood." " Ozpin" " You know why I'm here." " Yes I don't know sending our students to find a serial killer is a great idea especially when the Grimm have been at our door more recently." Ironwood then slams a newspaper down on his desk and says" Have you seen today's news?! This mercenary doesn't care for man,woman or child they need to be brought to justice." Ozpin picks up the paper as he reads some of it as he says" How do you know it was a mercenary? It says here that it was the father's fault." Ironwood then says" It was going to be till I found a surveillance of the crime." He then reaches into his jacket and put a microchip on the desk as Ozpin takes it and puts it into the computer as he presses a button as the room goes dark and a screen appears in front of them.
It shows them what had happened as Ozpin sits back in his chair and says" Fine I don't want to put any old huntsman in danger so I'll call my best." Ironwood nods as he walks away as the room reminds dark as he rewinds it a little to see the red glowing eyes.

"What are you?"

2 days later~

3 people stood in front of Ozpin as they looked at him.
Ozpin then says"It's a pleasure summer,Tai,and Qrow."
Summer nods and says" To see you and all but I want to know why we're here?" Ozpin nods and says" Well let me show you this." He then pulls up the video and says" I want you to bring them in." They look at what as Summer looks at him and says" How can we find them?" Ozpin smiles and says" Were not they are going to come to us." "How?" " I put a hit on myself." They look at him and says" WHAT?!"
Ozpin then says" Don't worry cause you'll be there to protect me tonight I'll be going to a party when the assassin gets wind of this we'll be ready."
