* one week later*

MARIANNA POV

A stream of ice water squirted onto my face. Where the hell was it coming from? Again that same irritating water hit me. It has been going on for sometime now and no matter my efforts to ignore it, it came back stronger.

I groaned and wiped the water from the damp side of my face. It is pretty impressive that I was able to ignore it for that long.

" Wake up, bitch!"

Those words struck me and I wasted no time to get up and stare at the girl standing at the end of the bed. Anesha.

"What?" I groaned

Honestly, I could care less that a complete stranger called me a bitch because I've been called worse by the people that I love.

"Where exactly are you here?" She asked

Before I answer her question, I took notice of the water squirter in her hand. Hope she had fun with it.

"Because he told me to" I said

"Are you serious? Did you even notice that this house has a billion fucking rooms. Doesnt it seem suspicious that he's making you share a room with him?"

I haven't really quite thought of it. But it doesn't seem like a big deal, he's barely here anyway so it wouldn't make a difference if I did have my own room. Plus, I love the company.

"No not really, he's really nice" I told her.

She gave me a long eye roll and signalled me to follow out of the room. I did. Not because I had to but because I was interested in what she had to say.

"Listen, little girl, you can't and won't ever feel comfortable in this house, even if you feel like you are, you aren't. Trust me"

I heard her but for some reason I wasnt listening. I was too focused on her calling me a little girl, we weren't even that far apart in age. But mostly because I didn't want a lesson in how to feel.

We reached the kitchen and she open the fridge. I sat at the island. She took out a breakfast platter and heated it in the microwave, then placed it in front of me.

"Eat" she demanded.

I ate, but only because I was hungry. Not because she said it with a growl that scared me.

I began sticking my fork into the sausages. Anesha sat across from me and watched me with delighted eyes. Her eyes moved with my body and she never let that smile fall from her face.

I was weirded out by the whole thing and decided to take a change in direction.

"So where did you come from?" I asked

She rose and went to the brewer.

"Same place as you" she shrugged as she poured herself a cup of coffee.

"Off the streets?" I asked

"No, from a vagina" she smiled

Very funny.

" I wasn't called here to talk about me, I was called here to help you" she told.

"How can you help me?"

She dodged my question and distanced herself. "You look very pretty, you know?"

"Thank you but--"

"If you are finished can you please come upstairs, your room."

With that, she left. Leaving me in a daze of utter confusion. It is an understatement to say that this lady was weird. She was something far worse. And I don't know if I ever wanted to talk to her again, but like the dumbass I was, I still went upstairs to meet her.
