How people "see" things is their perception.
Perception is subjective.
It depends on expectations , need etc.
Two people can experience the same thing and have vastly different experiences because of it.
The thing which is right for you can be wrong for another human being.
Our perception dictates our reality.
Sometimes perception can be confusing.
People may say you hurt them, but what you might've done was say your truth, stood up for yourself, said no, protected your heart/energy ,opted out, made your inner decision. Maybe they need reminder about boundaries, entitlement, human rights.
Every act of perception, is to some degree an act of creation,
And every act of memory is to some degree an act of imagination.
That's why Marcus Aurelius said that
"Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact and Everything we see is perspective, not a truth"
