chapter 3 the thirst

this is chapter three..kinda a crap story i know, sorry xD, ill try and make it better.

i could feel the thirst building and building.. i needed blood, i could feel it creep through my body, it was just like that night on the street, i didnt want it. i needed it, more then anything. i slowly got up as it continued to run in my blood, the reason why im not human, the uncontrolable thirst. i could only just hear damion calling my name, but i could see him, his blood was blue, the colour of a vampire blood.. i dont want it.. i want warm blood, human blood.

i turned and slowly walked out of the house. no stopping me now, i feel bad for the person i find on the street. thats when i saw her. her name was mindy parker, age 23, blood type B positive. i smiled as i approached her and pretended to fall on her shoulder.

"oh my god are you ok?!" she asked me trying to move me away, but it was useless i was to heavy.

"hey what are yo-" she started to say as i moved closer to her neck before i grabbed her shoulders and bit into her neck as hard as i could.

the red hot sticky substance going everywhere, i drained her dry, and let her drop to the ground. i looked at her blood drained body, feeling no remorse..it wasnt enough.. i need more.. i want more.

cars didnt bother to stop and see if mindy was ok, they drove past, they speed up. its only a human, i smiled, humans mean nothing, are nothing, only food. my eyes went wide and i seemed to have talked myself out of my vampire state. i looked around confused and i could feel tears running down my face..there not just food! there my friends! i felt a hand on my shoulder and spin me around. it was damion, his eyes full of anger which quickly switch to concern as he pulled me into a hug.

"its ok maddie..it was just a little slip, its ok" he whispered as he stroaked my hair.

"d-damion..?" i felt blind, tied between the blood thirsty beast and the real me.

"its me maddie, its ok, lets go home." he turned around and picked me up softly.

"h-home...?" i looked up at the blurry figure that resembled my brother, and thats all i remember before i passed out.

i woke up in clean clothes cuddled under my white duno cover in my room. i sat up and rubbed my eyes. slowly i got out of my bed and shuffled my way quietly downstairs. damion and danny where sitting on the coutch watching the news.

"the body of mindy parker aged 23 was found on the side of hale road at 7:30 this morning, the body had been drained of blood and appeared to have a large puncture mark on the side of the neck, police are investigating the scene" the channel 9 news reporter stated.

i gasped and clamped my hand over my mouth, i could see the tv from the top of the stairs, i ran down almost tripping over. both damion and danny looked at me as i walked over to stand over infrount of the tv.

"i-i-i did that didnt i..?" i tured to look at damion as fear filled my eyes.

"yes.." he said looking sad.

"i hope you know that this means you will be heading to the academy for 5 years, untill your full vampire can be controlled madaline" a fimilure dark voice called from the other side of the room.

i turned to look at who had addressed me. he steped out of the shadows quietly and calmly and i felt my eyes slowly start to bludge. it was drake. his eyes were still the same pale, emotionless gray they have always been, he still wore that sick smirk on his face and i tried to move as far away from him as possible.

"w-w-w-what are you doing here..?" i stuttered in shock as i bumped into the wall.

"im here to take you to be with your own kind of course, you didnt think you could stay with these measly humans for your whole life did you? of course you didnt, you will attend Bloodlust boarding school untill you can controll it." he steped an inch closer to me. "and if u refuse i can always make you, if you run, i will find you, i have before and i can do it  again" the smirk remained on his face as i leaned against the wall still trying not to panic.

" you should go and pack" damion mummbled quietly, almost a whisper but we all herd it.

"your going to let him take me?!" i yelled at him, fear clutching my chest painfully just by the thought of leaving, my home, my friends, and the only family memeber i had.

"we dont have a choice maddie, you have to go with drake." he looked sad as he looked up at me. i could tell he didnt want me to leave, be we where powerless if drake wanted us to go we had to.

danny stood up and rushed over to me hugging me tightly.

"she cant go! maddies not aloud to go! she has to stay here with us, damion you know she does, u her big brother your supposed to protect her from mean people like drake!" he had tears spilling down his cheeks and i kneeled down to hug him back, whilst wiping the tears away from his face.

"its ok danny, i know i have to go.." i could feel the sadness in my voice i knew he could when he looked at me.

his eyes where filled with tears no matter how hard i tried to wipe them away so i just pulled him into another hug. after a few minutes he calmed and i let go slowly.

"ill go and pack" i muttered before walking upstairs without another word and without looking back.
