Ever since that meeting, Deceit would pop up whenever Virgil was alone.

He missed Virgil.

He missed his soft brunette hair that sightly covered his eyes.

He missed his button nose, so cute.

He missed touching his soft face.
Well everything was soft about Virgil, no doubt

He missed looking into those mix colored eyes.
It was fascinating, unlike his own eyes which only had one odd eye.

He missed seeing that smiled, that could basically brighten anyone's day.

He missed hearing his voice, it was sounded so shy and timid.

He wanted to make sure Virgil was safe.

He tried make sure Virgil had everything

He knows he wasn't the nicest or the greatest but Virgil was really the only thing he cared for.

He had this bundle of joy until Virgil had left.

Virgil left, he never knew why.

Pain and anger filled him up.

He always watched Virgil from the side.

Remus saw Deceit's pain.

Remus tried to cheer him up but nothing worked.

It would be years until he would see him once again and once he does, he's never letting Virgil go.

"Kiddo!" Patton called out.

Him and Virgil were baking cookies, something to distract the two until the rest of the side came back. 

Well Virgil needed a distraction from Deceit and he had asked Patton if they could bake.

Patton gladly agreed and here they were.

Virgil perked up when Patton called for him
"Yes?"

"Can you get the cookies out of the oven, please?" He asked since he was busy washing some of the dishes.

Virgil nodded and grabbed some oven mitts, opening the oven then putting out the cookies.

He placed them on top of the counter and closed the oven, sighing a bit.

Patton felt the change of Virgil's mood and looked at him "are you okay, Veve?"

"Uh, yeah I'm fine.."

Deceit.

"Are you sure?"

Deceit.

"Yes, I'm fine."

Deceit.

Deceit, the only thing that seemed to be in Virgil's mind. He didn't know why.

"Well okay, kiddo. Please remember that I'm here whenever you need to talk." Patton spoke as he smiled.

Virgil smiled back "thanks, pop."

The two sides were in the living room, it was quiet and everyone hated it.

Patton pursed his lips "uh me and Veve made cookies! You guys want any??"

Roman nodded "I would like one."

"Me too.." Virgil mumbled

"I would also like some of the baked treats, you guys made" Logan chimed in.

Patton smiled and nodded, getting up to get the cookie for all of the guys.

The room went quiet again, waiting for Patton to come back with the cookies.

"Why is everyone so.. awkward.?" Virgil mumbled.

"Probably because of you, Virgil." Logan spoke as he sat up a bit

"What?"

"Your presence is making everyone very anxious. Someone happened and your mood is changing which is affecting everyone."

"Oh."

"Would you like to tell us what's troubling you?" Logan asked, since he did wanting to help out.

"um.. nothing happened."

Deceit.

"I'm fine."

Deceit didn't seem to leave his mind, he hated it. It was affecting him and his friends.

"I'm back!" Patton called out with the cookies in his hand

"Thank goodness! The room was getting so gloomy" Roman said as he grabbed a cookie and bit into it.

Virgil sighed and grabbed a cookie, mentally thanking Patton of saving him from a awkward conversation.

Virgil was back in his room, it was almost the end of the day since he spend most of it with the sides.

Maybe Deceit isn't coming back.

Virgil hope he doesn't.

Virgil laid against the bed and sighed, looking up at the ceiling as he enjoyed the quiet.
He hadn't have hear silence in awhile and the only thing he heard was just the noises outside his window. It was the just the wind but it was still heard since his window was open.

Everything was going pretty well until he felt someone in the room.

He heard someone.

Virgil sat up and quickly looked around to see who it was.

He didn't see anything.

"I'm probably hearing things.. I hope." He mumbled to himself as he laid back down.

Virgil tried to sleep but he couldn't, his mind was going haywire and unsettling anxious thoughts filled his mind.

Virgil decided he was gonna get a drink of water, he got up from his bed and left the room.

The house was quiet, so only his own foots steps were heard.

He made it into the kitchen and cleaned a cup which was out of the sink since he wouldn't be able to reach the top shelf.

Patton did most of the house work and seems to like putting the plates on the bottom, the bowls in the middle and the cups at the top.

He sighed and started filling up his cup before freezing.

Virgil heard a noise.

He knew he heard something,, or someone

Virgil turned around and saw a figure

"Deceit.?"

The deceiving side chuckled and stepped out of the shadows

"Hello kitten."
