The bell rings for 8th hour to be over. I gather my books and walk towards my locker. "Thank God, it's time to go home." I say to myself.

My body starts to feel hot with embarrassment. I begin to feel really uncomfortable. "Thanks." I say abruptly and I nervously start my car. She walks away, humming to herself, and I drive out of the parking lot and to the gas station as quickly as I can.

I know I shouldn't have felt so embarrassed, but I'm not used it. I'm the kid that everyone seems to ignore. Besides, I'm.......not exactly her type.......
