Not a Quirk, It's Science

Chapter 1

Waking up naked and in the middle of nowhere was not exactly the best thing that's happened to him, but it wouldn't be the first time.

Senku Ishigami was a genius high schooler who ended up leading humanity back from the ground up after the petrification beam turned all of the human race to stone, reviving only 3 700 years after said event, he proceeded to make humanity the top of the food chain once again all through the power of science. And after a series of unfortunate events, he got petrified...

Again.

And now here he is, once again free after another long 5000 years. It had taken longer since he had not been lucky enough to be placed in such an advantageous location like last time.

How had he known the exact date? Well, like his previous experience, he counted. It's not like anyone would be kind enough to place a calendar and a marine chronometer in front of him

Of course, he was naked once again, with no knowledge of humanity's status, all he knew was that it had went on, and he was the only one who had been petrified.

Paying no heed to his current physical status, he explored, which he admitted wasn't his smartest idea.

To be more precise, it landed him in the police station because someone decided he was a creep and was a threat to society by not covering his natural cover with processed hair from animals.

He was given some clothes, more specifically a white shirt with the word shirt on it and some pants that were slightly too big for him but it was an impromptu outfit, he can deal.

"Why were you walking around naked?" The police officer started.

"Because I just woke up after being turned to stone for 5000 years"

The officer gave him a deadpan face. He sighed.

"Look kid, I'm not joking-"

"Me neither" senku still had that bored expression on his face "Because obviously nothing would be able to survive that long, unless it's an alloy that doesn't contain iron like bronze but we're talking about clothes here and I doubt anyone would go around wearing-"

The older man's eye twitched "Alright, just- where are your parents?"

Senku stared at him "Don't know, but they're probably dead by now" more specifically 8 700 years ago.

The man looked shocked at that.

"So your an orphan? Where is the orphanage you stay in then?"

"I don't stay in one"

Now he just looked confused.

"I live by myself"

"Oh, well then, I'll repeat my previous question, why were you walking around naked? "

The younger teen raised a brow.

"Because I just woke up after being turned to stone for 5000 years" he repeated, as if talking to a child.

The man breathed in deeply.

"Alright then, you refuse to cooperate, look-" the officer gave him a serious expression "I'll let you off with a warning this time, but do this often and I'll have to resort to more drastic measures"

Senku merely gave a lazy affirmative.

"So, quirk and name" the officer faced his computer to presumably record said information.

"Quirk?" The scientist quirked his brows, and yes, that was on purpose.

The older male gave him a look "Yes, quirk, what's your quirk?"
