Carefully making my way down the long stairs of the plane, I was blinded by the hot shining sun, making me heat up instantly. The weather here is way warmer than the weather back in London. Since it's the beginning of winter the rain had already started attacking us back there but, here. Here it's like freaking 120 degrees.
"My God, a sudden change of climate." My mom chuckled after taking her last step off the staircase.
"Well, we need to get used to this beautiful weather from now on." Dad said as his eyes wondered around the place.
The sky looked so clear and beautiful. Something we didn't have much back in London. But when we did the whole population of England spent their days out, some topless and others like normal human beings.
I shall stop talking about the climate from now on. A major thing Brits normally talk about.
We all walked into the airport, towards where we had to collect our luggage, which I happened to have more than my parents and Michael, since I did not want to give most of my things away. Selfish, I know.
"You excited?" Michael came beside me as we waited for my bags that were taking forever.
"Excited for what exactly?" I gave him a fake smile and knew what he was talking about.
I and brother were quite close. We shared each other's thoughts and feelings, well mostly me since he doesn't have any. But he was overprotective when it came to attention seeking bitchés and pervy guys. I liked that side of him, but he was over the top and when he did become overprotective, he turned into the green Marvel character, hulk. Not exactly green but an angry, angry human brother hulk.
"Well you know, a new life away from the drama back in London." It was true I had a hard life, well not technically life just a couple of years living in London after my brain tumour operation which was two years ago. I could barely remember many people who I've met in my life and memories after that surgery. But some of my memories came crawling back to me a few months later.
It all started when I used to get headaches and felt dizzy during tough times, like thinking hard and just feeling stressed. After these symptoms I couldn't handle them and went for an emergency check-up in the hospital, they told me I had a very sensitive part in my brain and if I'd got injured or hit up there, I would've lost my memory completely or died. Luckily that never happened I just lost part of my memory. I had to catch up a lot of school work, it was a hell life that year. Oh well, that was the past, I better start thinking about the future.
"Yeah. I'm excited" I turned around and gave him a small smile. He always wanted what's best for me.
After about 10 minutes, I finally found my bags and we headed out to look for the chauffer who would take us to our new house.
The ride to the 'mansion' was amazing. The sites we passed through felt like I was a celebrity in a movie who was just moving in, which I was. Except the celebrity part. My parents who are professional celebrity red carpet designers. And I was a typical teenager starting College in a few weeks.
