Supreme Danger Beast END (Adopted Story From Fanfiction)

Meeting and Escape

(Natsu)

The sun was beginning to rise over Fake Mountain. Within a large cave high above the mountain was none other than Natsu, in his dragon form. Since being able to transform into one, Natsu had preferred sleeping as a dragon, finding it comfortable than sleeping in his human form. It brought back memories of better times when he slept, before he had to wake up to the current world. Letting out a yawn, Natsu did some stretches to get the stiffness out him. That included his tail and wings, hearing the satisfying cracks as he began to wake up. Once that was done, Natsu walked out of the cave, standing at the edge of the cliff. From there, Natsu could see the forest from down below.

Natsu's mind wandered as he sensed the presence of several Zenith-Class Danger Beasts, from hundreds of miles away. Also known as Beast Lords, they were Danger Beasts that had evolved and gained power from defeating other Danger Beasts. Once they reached a certain level, they were tested by the Supreme Danger Beast, AKA END. If they passed the test, the newly titled Beast Lords were given the rights to rule over pockets of land, commanding the local Danger Beasts there, but also had to follow END's laws and swear loyalty to him. END also made a rule that Zenith-class ones could challenge him for the title as Supreme-class every few years, if they so choose. Most of them do, while others were content with their current position.

Speaking of which... END could feel the presence of three Zeniths nearby, one that was very close by, near the entrance of the cave and the other two further away where some other familiar scents too. Whether there would be a conflict or not was hard to say, given the personalities of some of the Zeniths. Still, it was worth to check just in case, as it would be amusing at the very least.

After his stretches, END walked out of the cave, which overlooked most of Fake Mountain. Doing another stretch to get rid of sleepiness, he also spread his wings out letting all the dirt and dust fall off. As END continued to walk down the grassy path he sensed one of the Beast Lord that was nearby, "Tolkien."

The ground began rumbling as it startled the nearby animals away from the area and seconds later an old tree trunk that was in front of END emerged from the ground. Using its arms to lift itself from the ground. Its appearance took hold of a humanoid danger beast, its skin made of grey trunks of wood, its back covered in leaves as well as his forearms, homing to many little creatures that took shelter into this gentle giant. Its face had the same features as of an old ancient wise man. With its wooden like beard and its grooves like wrinkles on its wooden face and finally its eyes glowed like the emerald gems surrounded by darkness. With its massive figure towering over the the crimson dragon, he looked down and spoke in a deep and gruff voice. "Lord END... It is my greatest pleasure, to be in the presence of the Supreme Being. My Lord what brings you here..." Tolkien bowed his head, in respect.

"Oh come on Tol, we've already discussed this." END said as he transformed into his human form. "There's no need for honorifics old friend, Natsu is fine." He said with a smile. "If that is what you desire... Natsu." Tolkien said with a small smile. Closing his eyes, Tolkien focused his energy on himself, as green orbs danced around the gentle giant and flowed through his body. Tolkien size became smaller and smaller until he was about the same height as Natsu.

Natsu stood side by side as the old man became his height. After exchanging gazes, the men had laughed and gave each other hug, both patting each others backs greeting one another.
