Chapter two- "I'm straight from hell anyway."

❤️

It was around 10 pm and I had just finished talking to Lilian about 30 minutes ago. I took a hot bath and sat on my bed looking out into the sky. Thinking. Lilian told me I couldn't do anything because he's the most powerful mafia man ever. I didn't want to take chances.

Is he going to be kind to me? Or is he going to be the devil Lilian told me about?

All that thinking got me stressed out. I laid on my side and tried falling asleep but everything time I closed my eyes I saw him and his dimple.

—————

"Sweetheart. He's here." I heard my mother say. My eyes were shut not wanting to let me open them and get up.

"I'll let you take your time." She said and walked to my door and closed it slowly. I sighed and turned onto my back. I opened my eyes and just stared at the ceiling.

It took my 30 minutes to get ready to go. I changed and started packing my clothes.

My outfit:

I couldn't pack all my things so I decided to come back for them later. If you're allowed to.

I walked downstairs and saw my father, mother and Xavier talking. Xavier looked impatient and annoyed. My mother had very red looking eyes and her face was pink.

My heart hurt seeing her like that.

I cleared my throat to announce my presence and they turned to me. I walked closer to them and saw that Lilian was playing with Gabby in the kitchen.

"Princess, as you already know, this is Xavier Pierre. You'll be going with him because-." My father said but I cut him off.

"Because you made a bet and I was a prize. A drunk bet." I said emphasizing the word drunk. My fathers eyes widened like I wasn't supposed to say that in front of my mother. She looked surprised but she had to know the truth.

"Austin, what does she mean by 'drunk bet'?" My mother asked sounding quite angry.

"Honey, we'll talk about this later." He said sounding scared.

"Alright, Austin, your wife and daughters are very welcoming but you on the hand...I don't like. We need to get going. It was nice meeting you Caroline, Lilian and Little Gabrielle." Xavier said waving at Gabby as she waved back.

Xaviers guards came and took my luggage as we walked to his black suv. I said goodbye to everyone quickly because Xavier looked really tired of being at my family home.
