Philophobia

It was still dark out, when Sasuke woke up. He stared at the blonde that laid on his chest, and sighed, gently shaking him.

"Naruto, get off." He said, grumbling as the Jinchūriki wrapped his arms around him, shaking his head.

"No. Your warm."  He mumbled, snuggling closer to the raven haired male.

"Whats wrong with you?" Sasuke huffed, trying to push him off. He glared as Naruto whined, and clinged onto the Uchiha. 

Naruto whined again, and stared at Sasuke, who looked completely serious. He sighed, and got off him.

He rolled his eyes, and looked out of the shelter that they had been staying in. The sun was just rising, which meant they could soon begin their  journey again. Sasuke collected his things, and put them back in the small bag he had brought with him, watching as Naruto did the same. 

Sasuke carelessly slung his backpack over his shoulder, while Naruto struggled to put his on. They both began to walk, the blonde sighing happily. They could finally get out of that cramped space.  Both boys began to walk in silence, each one glancing at one another once and a while. A few times, Sasuke would catch Naruto staring. 

The blondes reactions would simply be to just glare and stick his tongue out. Sasuke's reaction to getting caught would simply just be turn away. They did this a few times.

Finally, they ended up coming to a stop, or at least, Sasuke had made them stop. He held Naruto back before he could walk any farther. 

"What the hell is wrong with--" The young Uchiha slapped a hand to his mouth, and pointed ahead of them. 

There was a large, greyish-brown snake in front of them, wrapped around the trees. It was one of Orochimaru's. It seemed to be looking for something..or someone. It noticed the two males, and swished its tail around, before slamming it down in front of them. The force of the snakes tail hitting the ground made the two shinobi fly back. 

It let out a horrifying shriek, before slithering away, knocking down trees in the process. Naruto groaned, as he tried to get up, and failed. Sasuke on the other hand, was already standing. He grabbed Naruto's wrist, and hauled him up.

Sasuke sighed. "Where are these things coming from.."

"Sasuke, behind you!"

The raven haired male spun around, only to be hit against a tree. A kunai was thrown, and it hit his arm.

"Sasuke!" Naruto yelled, only to be hit with a bunch of needles. He winced, and fell to the grown next to Sasuke. Both boys heard laughing, and they looked up. They saw a figure standing on a branch of the tree. The two males quickly got to their feet, besides being some amounts of pain. They figure jumped down, and revealed himself to be, the one and only Kabuto. He smirked, and pushed his glasses further onto his nose. 

"Well. Just my luck."
