Y/N POV

Who are you?

He brushes by me walking to his seat in the back of the room, still feeling his burning gaze on me.

"Umm... what the hell was that?" Soyeon whispers next to me. And to be honest, I don't even know. Why do his eyes make me feel this way? So... happy?

"I-I... I don't know..." I stutter feeling flustered for no apparent reason. Soyeon glances back at the boy for a brief second before turning back to me.

"Do you know him? He's staring at you with the CUTEST puppy-dog eyes!" She says punching my arm lightly. I start to feel semirelieved at her words... but why? My eyes wander to the back of the room where he sits next to the windows. And Soyeon was right. He was staring at me, but I wouldn't say with "puppy-dog eyes". The second our eyes met, his grew wide turning away to face out the window, the slightest tint of red visible in the morning light coming into the classroom. He looks so angelic with the early sunshine gleaming on his features. How can I not know this man at all, but still feel completely and utterly under his control?

"No... not really... actually not at all." I say turning back to her. "Do you know anything about him?"

"Hmm... I don't know much, only that he recently moved here from Australia. I didn't know he was switched to our class though. Apparently a lot of girls are already after him... even some guys." She turned her head away from me to look back at him. "I mean I can see why... he's gorgeous." Something sparked in me hearing her words, feelings of anger flooding in my veins. "But I don't know... he seems like too much of a pretty boy for me. He's all yours hun." She says putting her head in her hand pulling out her phone. I let out a sigh of relief for some reason.

"Alright class, take out your history books and turn to page 396." The teacher says making everyone in the class rustle through their bags for their books.

Majority of the day went by fast. A few short lectures, some note taking, and the introduction to our new project on foreign countries. Our teacher cut up country names and put them in a bag for us to find our partner. Hearing my name called I went to the front of the classroom to pick my country. Reaching my hand in the bag, I grabbed the first piece of paper I felt.

Australia the paper read. How ironic.

I sat back in my seat next to Soyeon waiting for the next name to be called up.

"Christopher Bang?" The teacher calls stirring movement in the back of the room, making me turn my head to see my mystery boy standing and walking to the front of the room.

Christopher... a very English name, well I mean it makes sense since he's from-

"Australia!" Christopher said excitedly, which I'm assuming is because it's his home country. Wait... I'm doing Australia.

"Fuck..." I whisper under my breath. Soyeon turns to look at me with a confused face. She grabs my paper slip and reads the country name typed on it, her eyes widening as she looks back at me.

"Who is the other person who has Australia?" The teacher asks. I raise my hand feebly staring at Christopher as his eyes land on me. His eyes widen but he smiles widely when he sees my hand in the air, making me smile slightly. "Ok Y/n and Christopher. Alright class dismissed! Your presentations are due in ONE week and you will not have class time to work on them!" The teacher says leaving the room. Soyeon turns to me, slapping my arm lightly.

"You lucky shit! Your partner is literally FROM the country your project is on!" She says crossing her arms and pouting lightly.

"Oh Yeonie you'll be fine! You're literally working with your girlfriend! Mina and you always get great marks on everything." I say laughing. Soyeon and Mina have been together for almost three years and they are the cutest couple in the school. Sucks Mina's not here today though... it means that Soyeon's gonna be in a crappy mood the rest of the day.
