wrong ~ hyunjin (part 15)

Hyunjin looks at you with a small grin on his face.
You immediately look down at your feet, avoiding any eye contact.
"Hyunjin? What are you doing here?", felix asks and gets hyunjin's attention again.
"I just took a little walk since I can't relax so I wanted to get some fresh air... and what are you both doing here?"
His attention goes back on you, but you keep staring at your feet.
They got a bit dirty, maybe you should clean them again.
"We took a walk at the beach."
Hyunjin looks between the two of you and thinks for a moment.
"Are you... a thing?"
"No!", both of you say at the same time.
You look up again, panicked because of the question.
"We're friends.", you say.
Felix hits your shoulder a bit and smiles.
"Best friends.", he corrects you, making you smile brightly.
Hyunjin clears his throat, catching both of your attention again.
"Hm, Y/n?"
You look into his eyes, that was a mistake.
His eyes are so deep and for a moment you get lost in them. The way he says your name makes your knees go weak and you hate yourself for this.
You can't fall for him again.
"You look so pretty today, I haven't seen you in a while."
You feel your cheeks heat up.
Why do these words have such a big impact on you?
"T-Thank you."
You hate yourself for stuttering.
"We should meet up again."
You nod a little even tough your brain cells tell you to shake your head.
But your body reacts different.
He smiles, it's not that flirty smile or player smile, no it's a cute and honest one.
God damn it, why does he have to be that attractive?
You get lost in his eyes again and it seems like he does the same.
You don't know how long you both just stand there at the beach, staring in each others eyes, but at some point Felix nudges your shoulders.
You come back to reality and look at him.
He stands there, confused about what was going on but you just shrug.
"I have to go now. It was nice to see you again, see you hopefully soon again, Y/n."
You nod and let Felix hug Hyunjin shortly before he walks away without looking back. As soon as he's out of your vision, Felix chuckles.
"What the fuck was that?"
You shrug again. "I would love to know that as well, Felix."
You two start to walk again.
Felix decides to walk you home, since it's getting dark.
"Seemed like you two stares in each other's souls.", Felix starts again after some minutes of silence.
"God Felix I really don't know. There was just something between us in that moment and I couldn't really tell what it was."
He nods and thinks for a while.
"You two always seemed to have a good chemistry. I don't know why. But he's an ass, don't get your hopes up."
He laughed and you know that this is the end of the conversation.
But you wished that you could talk more about him and maybe you get some informations about Hyunjin our of Felix.
You two arrive at your house and you smile.
"You know that if you think to much again this night you can just call me. I don't want you to lay in bed again, overthinking all alone."
You nod and smile even more.
"Thank you lix, I really appreciate that."
He smiles and hugs you tightly.
"See you the next time we go out together and I promise you the next time we will do something more interesting."
You nod and hug him back.
"Thank you and good night."
"You're welcomed my best friend."
With that he walks away and you enter the house with a happy smile.
