Lacey's POV
It's been 3 years since asher first hit me. I forgave him at first but as he got older it got worse and worse he yelled more, cussed more, and just became a monster. I broke up with him and moved upstate to new york with cherry&winter. I gave birth to my little girl Stormi Marie Rose. She always asks of her father but i don't know where he is now he just disappeared after i broke up with him. Cherry&winter help me as much as they can they travel to see hunter&ricky. Hunter is pissed and ricky wants to kill asher to this very day. It's crazy how much he changed he was always so sweet. I guess when he appears again I'll have to set up visitations for him to see Stormi Marie because she is unfortunately his child.
"Mommy?" Stormi asks
"Yes baby?" I ask smiling.
"Where's daddy?" She asks
My smile fades and i sigh "princess, i don't know. If i knew I'd take you too see him, i don't want you to hate your father okay? No matter what he did to mommy promise me you'll always love him?" I ask
She nods "i promise mommy"
*knock knock*
I anwser the door and there he is. Fixed up, hair cut, a few minor tattoos, wow he cleans up good.
"A-asher?" I ask scared.
"It's been a while lacey how are you?" He asks.
"Mommy! I'm hungry!" Stormi beams
My eyes widen "oh, hang on sweetie" i say smiling.
"Who's that man mommy?" Stormi asks.
I pick her up "uh babygirl, this is your daddy"
Asher's eyes widen "s-she's my daughter?"
"She is. Say hi stormi" i say smiling.
"Uh hi daddy?" She questions.
Asher cries full blow cries "stormi go wait for mommy in the kitchen yeah?" I ask.
"Okay mommy" she says getting down.
I put my arms around asher he hugs me back "i-i can't believe it, she's so beautiful" he says crying.
"She gets her looks from her daddy" i tease.
He chuckles "her momma isn't so bad herself"
I giggle "asher,wanna come in and have lunch with your daughter?" I ask
He smiles widely "I'd love that"
I move aside so he can come in then i shut door.
"What do you want for lunch princess?" I ask smiling.
"McDonald's chicken nuggets!" She beams
I giggle and place the order. It soon arrives and we all sit down and eat.
"So asher? Where have you been?" I ask
"Well, after we broke up. My mom found out about everything and cussed me out, told me you were an amazing woman and i fucked up bad. Then she sent me to a rehabilitation facility in Norfolk Virginia where i got the help i need. I couldn't have my phone until i got out that's why i didn't get your messages about stomi the past 3 years" he says
"Oh i thought you went awall and blew up someone" i say.
"Nope. I knew i had to get better. I begged hunter&winter to tell me where you&stormi were so i can come visit and show y'all the new me" he says.
"Mommy? Can daddy play tea party with us?" Stormi asks.
I giggle "if he wants to"
"I don't mind, what kind of tea?" Asher asks.
"Green tea. Mommy made it with chocolate chip chookies" stormi beams.
Asher looks to me and smiles with amazement and delight." Mommy did all that for you?"
"She did daddy! She's amazing! She cuddles me until i fall asleep at night, sings me songs, reads me stories even plays dollies with me even though she's a tomboy" stormi says smiling.
I giggle "I'd do anything for you stormi you are my world princess"
Asher looks down. After this tea party me&him need to talk 1 on 1. Soon the tea party is finished i explain everything to cherry and she agrees to take stormi out for ice cream and shopping.
I fix two cups of coffee asher&i and we sit at the bar of my new york home.
"Asher, where do we go from here?" I ask
"I wanna be in stormi's life" he says
"I want that too asher, i meant for you&i" i say sighing
He takes my hand lightly and kisses it. "I can always try to win you back like in highschool?" He says smiling.
I giggle "you were so sweet back then"
"Yeah, i guess i needed to do some growing up huh?" He asks.
"Asher, don't be yourself up. You did your time and so far i can tell it's paid off your really trying aren't you?" I ask
"I really am. Lacey i was a bastard to you but i promise you, that man is gone and never will return. And you will be mine again" he says smirking.
I blush "mmm we will see"
He starts tickling me "ASHER! OMG! STOP!" i say laughing
"Tickle monster doesn't stop unless you say the magic words" he says smiling.
I giggle "please tickle monster?" I beg
He giggles and lets "i really am sorry lacey. You didn't deserve anything of that"
"It was just tickling asher" i say laughing
"No, i meant before..when we were 19" he says.
I take his hands in mine "asher, I've still got a great deal of love for you but we need time okay?" I ask
"I understand. I'll prove to you I'm a better man" he says
I kiss his forehead "i know you will"
