Your senses were muffled. Everything around you seemed to cling to your body, the coffin like essence of space prohibited much movement. Even breathing seemed difficult. Slowly, you let yourself inhale and exhale and felt the pressure around you release. You began to feel lighter, your slurred and heavy thoughts became clearer as your lungs took in more and more air.

Suddenly everything felt like it shattered, bright lights welcomed your previously blind eyes as the sharp crumbling of stone crashed around you. You became slightly overwhelmed at this onslaught of new information for your senses barraged you.

Falling.

That's what this feeling was. How strange, you'd forgotten what this movement felt like. Cold met your body and a loud clang echoed.

You laid there for a second and processed what had happened. Screwing your eyes shut tighter, a million pictures flew to your mind. His face, his hair, the moon and the blood covered ground. His sharp words, your escape. Aha, and finally, a sudden sleep.

Your arms shot out under you as you ripped your eyes open, welcoming the sickly light that poured into them. A sniff. Another sniff. Your nose rewarded you with a sterile and coppery scent. You stood to your full height and stretched, crackles and pops of long rested bones greeted you, causing a heavy sigh to escape your body. You looked up and made eye contact with a small group of men behind glass. They seemed astounded at your movements which made you smirk.

"So... These are humans now hmm?" Your voice echoed and the men crept back from the glass. Their dialect was new, but you learned it quickly.

The amusement of this discovery wore off quickly as memories flooded your thoughts once again. Something deep inside you was calling out to him. A primal burning in your body screamed at you to find him.

There was no visible openings from within the chamber and as such you decided to jump onto the glass panel and break through it.

This caused great alarm from the men inside who screamed and cowerd away from you, shards of glass raining on their fragile bodies.

You turn to your right and speak to the man still standing. "Is the sun out at this time?" His mouth opened and closed flabbergastedly, like a puffer-fish. "Let me repeat myself, is the sun out at this time? The great ball of fire, of warmth. Is it out as we speak?" Your voice was snappy, it almost hurt to speak as your vocal chords seemed to be heavy from sleep still. These trivial idiots weren't fast enough to your liking.

Finally he shakily coughed out a strand of words. "N-no... It is not. But how could you...?" You glared at him again and he whimpered in fright. "You are no longer an interest to me, but I give small gratitude to the ape you are." Your voice made his spine so straight that it broke, and you laughed quietly.

You walked up the cold steps leaving the men in strange clothing quivering among glass. A door was met by your hand and you opened it slowly, the arid breeze beckoning you. Looking back over your shoulder you flicked your wrist and smirked again, closing the door on agonized screams as glass once again impaled the men.

It was of no consequence to you, your mind was focused on one sole thing.

To find him.
