She felt insane for thinking that her plan was genius.
There was more to college than parties, hot guys and actual homework. She'd come up with the blueprints of the dorm room, all of the three floors, up to the tiniest details and it was planned out perfectly, no mistakes could be made, right?
Wrong! Multiple things occurred before she could safely act it out.
A new year's party raged downstairs in the common room - the study and chill location for the students of Metro Co Uni - but tonight it was the destination for alcohol poisoning, drunk-as-hell frat boys and dry humping, sex-crazed students.
Her best friend had planned on attending the party but then backed out last minute since her piece-of-shit date couldn't make up an excusable reason for not wanting to go, except for hooking up with one of the college's groupies and instead, ended up crashing with her skeptical best friend that was planning a super heist.
And the fact she had to explain to the grief-stricken, early 20's college girl why she couldn't spend the night or be involved in the crime.
THAT conversation turned into a torrent of hair-pulling, shouting at the top of their lungs and discussing a new criminal record.
Finally she swung her 20-pound suitcase toward the girl and never looked back. It was now or never.
She made a mad dash for the stairs, sliding to a halt and ducking behind a cleaning cart as the guard waddled away, his pistol just inches away from her reach, but moved again. Once he was gone, she smashed the camera screen and pulled her hood around her innocent face. If she could reach the second hallway, her world would be complete and she'd complete her mission.
She sprinted quickly behind the sloppy, female guard and knocked thrice on the dorm room four doors down from her hidden spot. Quietly she crawled through and wiped the adrenaline-type sweat from her forehead, collapsing against the frame of his bed.
"You made it." He yanked her up to his height and snapped fuzzy handcuffs on her. "But bad girls must be taught a few lessons."
She nodded and accepted the guy. She'd play along for now, but he'd be dead by morning. Her playthings never remained alive for long.
Suddenly a sharp ringing caused them both to collapse and the entire world went black, like a shattered lightbulb. Her heart pumped once, twice, then failed and she fell into a deep sleep.
