"Momma K, please don't do this to me. PLEASE!"

"Kat, there's something I need to tell you."

Don't start something you can't finsh Amoire." I told her, turning my back to her. I felt a body press against my back, and heard her huskily whispher in my ear "I never do Kylie."

Mali P.O.V.

"Kat,theres something I need to tell you." I whisphered out, as I felt my hands shaking. I can't belive I'm about to do this. For years, I've been keeping this secret, and now I, Malificent Jones, am going to admit my love for Katie Lyles. Someone pray for me

I swallowed hard before looking around, trying to find something to aid me, and I spotted a guitar sitting against the back wall.

"Actually, I have a better idea." i told her as i walked over, and grabbed the guitar. I brought it back to where I was, and grabbed her hand, leading her to sit down in front of me. She looked at me with a look of suprise.

"I didn't know you played guitar." she told me. I simply shrugged before replying "There's a lot you don't know about me." I began playing the first notes of the song, and smiled as realization crossed Kat's face.

I took a deep breath "Kat, I've loved you since always, as first as a best friend, and now as something more. You've been my rock when i needed you, and i'll always be your rock when you need me. I'd go to hell and back for you. Kat, would you be my girlfriend?" I asked her, staring right into her eyes.

A silence took over the room, before I closed my eyes, a feeling of dread and embarrassment taking over me.

"I'm sorry Kat, I sho-" I began to apologize, but a pair of lips cut me off.
Kat was kissing me
KAT WAS KISSING ME!
HOLY FLIPPING SHIT.
We separated and looked at each other, pure love and astonishment adorned out eyes.

"Well that happened." Kat said simply, and I laughed softly, happy to see that she wasn't acting any diffrent.

"Yeah, it did. But you never answered my question. Kat, will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her, more confidently this time.

"Of course I will you big goof." she told me, while launching herself into my arms.

Finally

Amorie P.O.V.

"I never do Kylie." I whispered in her ear, before nipping it slightly. I felt her tense up, and smirked, happy that I still had this effect in her.

"You know, I never stopped loving you Kylie. I've loved you all these years."
I told her, as I turned her to face me. By this point her entire face was flushed.

"If you loved me so much, then why'd you hide it from me?!" She yelled out to me.

"I never meant it. There's not a day that goes by that I don't regret it." I told her, my voice full of emotion as i thought about those faithful nights years ago.

FLASHBACK

Amorie Jones, you have been accepted into the U.S. Army.

Amorie felt her hands shaking as she read the letter. She'd applied for the Army years ago, when she was a young teen, and never gotten anything back so she forgot about it.

But here it was. What was she going to tell Mali? What was she going to tell Kat?

What was she going to tell Kylie? Shit.

"Babe, what is it?" Kylie asked her. She darted her eyes around, hoping to think of an excuse, when they landed on the pile of junk mail.

"Just some more junk mail. I'll take it to the trash." Amorie told her, feeling guilty for lying. She made her way to the kitchen and finished reading the letter.

"You're being deployed in a week."

Her face fell when she realized how small of an amount she had left with her family. She swore to make the most of it.

One week later

CRASH!

Amorie winced as the loud noise echoed through the silent house. All week she'd been trying to find out a way to tell them, but found it to be too painful in any way. She decided the best way would he to sneak out and leave a note.

"Goodbye family. I'll be back. This I promise."

Kylie awoke the next morning, and found the note. She cried for hours, until the two young girls came downstairs. The pair read the note together, and Kat began to cry too. Mali went silent and stone-faced. This was the moment that young Mali, transformed into the shy, quiet child everyone knows her as. Nothing was the same.

Amorie hugged Kylie tightly. She could feel the emotional distress rolling off of her love in waves, and knew she was having the same flashback.

"I'm here now, and i'm not going anywhere. I promise."
