Jude Heartfilia's POV)
"Lucy! ...LUCY HEARTFILIA! COME HERE RIGHT NOW!"
I angrily turned to Virgo. "Virgo, where's Lucy?"
"...." Virgo said nothing.
"VIRGO!" I yelled threateningly.
"Lucy-sama is in her room " Virgo said. "And what is she doing in her room? She's supposed to be here," I growled. "Should I call her?" Virgo asked. I sighed. "No I'll go and find her," I said.
Where is that girl?
I went to her room but didn't open the door. Instead, I knocked. "Lucy, " I called.
Why wasn't she answering? Could it be... No way. I swarmed the mansion with guards. "Lucy, I'm coming in," I warned. When I opened the door and stormed inside, I found an empty room. "No, no, NO! Why would she do this?" I shouted, not caring if anyone had heard me.
I went to her closet. There was nothing: no clothes, no shoes, no jewelry, nothing.
Why, Lucy never took all her clothes when she ran away! She always just took few pairs of jeans and blouses. why do I have this bad feeling that I'm not going to see her In a long time? "Why did you go this far?" I asked in despair.

(Lucy's POV)
"I was in a hurry and forget to take some money!" I exclaimed to myself. "What should I do?" I sighed. "I can work, but there's a chance that people will know me. I know. I can sell something! What should I sell? Let's see...my phone? I can't. My bag? No. My shoes? I kinda need them to walk. What about my jewelry? Hmmm...I can sell some. Let's see..."
I rummaged through my bag and pulled out a pair of earrings and a couple rings. "Alright, let's search for a store!" I looked to my right and just saw fruit stands. On my left, it was all candy stores and gaming and such. "Wait. Don't tell me am lost," I groaned. I would look so stupid if someone found out I was lost in my own city. My only option was to ask someone else.
I went into one of the of the shops and asked the cashier, "Excuse me, sir?" He replied, "Yes, ma'am?" "Where can I find a jewelry store?" "Jewelry store?" he repeated. "Yes, sir," I nodded. "Alrighty. So first you right on this road and then you will see some fruit stands, okay? And after that, walk straight to the park and then go left and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You'll see it on your right."
"Thank you sir! have a good day!" I thanked him. "You too," he responded. "And that's a nice skirt you have. Nowadays, all you kids wear are just T-shirts and the like, I swear." I shrugged. "Yeah. But thank you for your kind words."
Okay, I should move now, or it'll get dark. "Ah, ma'am?" "Yes, sir?" "Would you like something to eat?" "No thank you, sir, it's o-" My stomach growled loudly, cutting me off.
"Haha! After hearing that, I'm sure you're hungry," he laughed. I just looked down at the floor in embarrassment.
So, what do you want?" he asked me. I looked up again. "Um, are you sure? I mean, I am in hurry," I admitted. "Alrighty, then. I'll give you some fruit to go, okay?" "Thank you, sir," I said as I bowed.
He brought me some fruits, and I packed them and left the shop. I didn't look at what he gave me, so I pulled out the fruits again. "Hmm, let's see what we got," I mumbled to myself. He gave me a banana, an apple, and a branch of grapes.
"'Scuse me, ma'am?" "Huh?" I looked down to see a cute little boy with brown hair and blue eyes. He wore a T-shirt that was caked in dirt, along with little shorts. "Yes young man. What do you want?" I asked kindly. "Could you give me some...?" He pointed at the grapes. "You want some grapes?" I asked. "Yes, ma'am!" He responded cheerfully. "Here you go," I said as I handed him the entire branch. His eyes lit up. "Thank you, ma'am! I bet you're the kindest here! And you're pretty, too," he added bashfully. I smiled. "Thank you. Do you have a name?" He looked at me quizzically. "Uh, name?" "Yes, a name," I repeated. He thought about it for a moment and then answered, "No."
I was shocked. "What? You don't have one?" "No, ma'am," he said as he shook his head. "Can I name you, then?" I suggested. "Sure," he agreed. "I'd love to have a name." "Alright. Let's see..." He eagerly gazed up at me with those beautiful blue eyes. "What about...Lucas?" "Lucas?" he repeated. "Yes," I answered confidently. "But why's that?" he asked. "Well, in Latin and Greek, the meaning of 'lucas' is 'light', and you have a beautiful blue eyes that seem to glow. That's why."
I smiled because it was true. He did have amazing eyes. "ma'am..." He started to cry. "Why are you crying?" I asked. "Thank you thank you so much," he replied between sniffles. "Why are you thanking me?" "Because I have a name...I'm so happy..." I grinned. "Alright, Lucas. I should go." He looked a bit upset that I was leaving, but he gave me a smile and waved. "Okay, bye nice ma'am! See you later!" I waved back and headed on down the road.
"Wait," I said as I turned around. "Before I go, how old are you?" "I'm 9," he answered. Such a young age. "I want to make promise with you," I said. "Is that okay?" "Oh, yes, anything for you." I couldn't help but giggle at his adorableness. "Alright. I promise you that we we'll meet again, and you're going to live with me, okay?" His jaw dropped. "Really?" "Yes, of course," I chuckled. "Wow..." he whispered. "Pinky promise?" he asked. "Alright," I agreed with a smile as I put out my pinkie finger. We locked pinkie fingers together for a second, and I stood back up. "Okay, I got to go. Oh, and my name's Lucy." "Alright, ma-I mean, Lucy," he stuttered as I left.
I got on the road that the worker told me to. After what seemed like forever, I was at the entrance to the jewelry shop.
I opened the door "Hello?" I called out. "Yes?" someone behind the counter asked, but I couldn't see her. "Who's here?" "Um, I'd to sell some rings and earrings," I responded. No need for anyone to know my name.
"Put them on the counter," she told me. "Okay." I put them on the counter. After a moment, a large and elegantly-dressed woman popped up. "Alright," she muttered as she took my jewelry and inspected it. After a few seconds, she put them down and rummaged through her cash register and pulled out some Jewel. "Take the money," she insisted as she thrust it towards me. "What? won't you tell-" I asked before I was interrupted with, "Take the money." "Y-yes, ma'am," I said as I took the Jewel. "Good. Now, out with you," she said as she made a shooing gesture towards the door. "Yes, ma'am!" I got out of there before she could say another word.
I stopped outside the shop. How much did she give me? 3000 jewel. Just that? No wonder it felt like a robbery. "Oh well, at least I can travel to Mongolia," i reassured myself.
I went to the airport and saw some workers. "Excuse me," I said as I went up to one of them. "Yes? ma'am?" "Do you have a free seat in the plane to Mongolia?" "Let's see...Yes, there's one seat open in the first class." "That's good," I responded. "How much?"
The worker thought for a moment. "6000 jewel," was the response. "What?" I exclaimed. "But I don't have enough!" "Sorry, miss," the worker shrugged. "Don't you have a seat for 3000 Jewel?" I begged. "No, ma'am," the worker responded. "I only have 3000 Jewel," I muttered in despair. "I'm sorry," the worker repeated in an annoyed tone. "I'm afraid I can't let you fly for less than 6000 Jewel."
"Here is the 12000. For her and me." What? "No, no, I can't take it from you-" I insisted as I turned around. I looked up at the guy who had suddenly offered to give me a ride.
He was gorgeous. He had creamy tan skin, beautiful green eyes, and spiky pink hair. It would've looked weird on another guy, but it kinda fit him. He stood tall and proud, as if nothing could get in his way.
"Mister Drag-" the worker argued. "Please, let me pay for you, miss," he said as he bowed to me. "I'm sorry?" was all I could say. "Please," he insisted. "I just want to thank you, and it seems like this is the only way." "Thank me?" I exclaimed in confusion. I had never met this guy before. "But...but I can't-" "Just let me pay for it," he commanded. Then, he bent down and whispered in my ear.
"Luce."
