I look at both of them and shake my head.
"Guys I'm fine" Kyle raises an eyebrow and Daisy sits back down.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. I don't know why everyone says she's so terrible, she was actually so sweet and understanding" I say smiling.

"So what did she say?" Daisy said a little impatient.
"She said that she will definitely get our project renewed" Daisy sighed in relief putting her hand on her chest. 
"Thank the heavens" I smile and open my laptop. As I began to do my work for the day my mind just kept shifting onto the dark headed beauty.

No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get her out my head. No Betty stop, you should know better than to think of your boss like that and you have a boyfriend.  I shook my head and worked once again but as the day started to end and Kyles words became nothing but a bunch of random words I knew that I was done for the day.

The clock struck 6:00 and I was done. I had worked later than usually due to me being distracted by Ms. lodge. I picked the rest of my things up and said my goodbye to Daisy who was one of the last people to leave just like me. The whole car ride home my eyes begged me to let them close but I didn't let them. I drive until I reached my apartment block and headed up the stairs.

As I was reaching for my door my neighbor opened her door and stared at me with a death glare.
"Oh I thought you were in your room already?" I stared at Amber who shook her head.
"I'm sorry what?" I say as her expression softened and she looked at me with sad eyes.
"Better to find out yourself" I had no idea what Amber was on about as I shrugged my shoulders and fished out my keys.

I unlocked the door and walked in just to see my boyfriend naked on the bed with another women wrapped around him. I couldn't believe my eyes as I stood there clenching my work bag tight to my body. That's when the anger filled my veins and I lost it.
"DANIEL YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" I shout at him as he jumps up quickly trying to grab his clothes.

"This is not what it looks like" he says to me as the women on the bed sits up and looks at me with a bored expression on her face.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS!" I shout at him throwing my work bag on my table.
"Baby let me explain-"
"Don't fucking baby me, who is this bitch!" I say to him pointing at the girl on the bed.

"I'm Megan" she says and I look back at Daniel.
"Get out" I say and Daniel and Megan stare at me.
"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOME!" I shout and Megan quickly grabs her things and walks out. Daniel puts his clothes back on and looks at me with pleading eyes.
"Daniel were done" I say and he frowns.
"What do you mean we're done?" I clench my jaw.

"It means I breaking up with you. So. Get. Out. " he try's to touch my arm but I pull away.
"We can work this out-"
"No Daniel we can't work this out. I'm done with you using me, so go away Daniel" I say moving towards the door. I open it and wave my hand out the door signaling for him to leave.

He looks at me and sighs.
"Fine I'll leave" he grabs the rest of his stuff and walks out not evening saying sorry. What an asshole. I'm glad I broke up with him but that doesn't help that there is a pain in my chest. Even after everything I once did love him. I rub my face with my hands and decide it's best just to have a shower and go to bed earlier.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I'm late I can't believe I didn't set my alarm. I run around my apartment trying to get ready. I throw on a simple white button up shirt with a kinda short black skirt. I put my hair in a high pony and put on my high heels before grabbing my bag and rushing out my apartment.

"I thought you would be at work already?" I turn my head to see Amber locking up her place.
"Yes I'm suppose to but I forgot to put my alarm on and now I'm late" I say quickly locking my place up.
"Bye amber"
"Bye Betty" I hear her shout as I rush down the stairs.
