"Shh shh little wriggler shh," Rosa tried to shoosh the young grub, pulling on her jacket quickly and quietly, she placed the squeaking grub inside her jacket, hugging him close. It was quiet for once, she silently made her way out the door, making sure to shield him from the hot sun. Too quiet, "hey, get back here with that thing!" shoot, she was so done for, she started to run, keeping him in her arms as well as her jacket. No one could really go out in the sun, which was odd to her, run run run! She looked behind her, seeing so many..guards...? She panicked as the bluebloods started to catch up to her, but wasn't it day? She looked up, it was night? "Shoot-!" she tripped, laying there for a moment. "Mom get up!" a deep voice called out, looking up she saw boy wearing a cloak stretching his arm out the her, she grabbed it, letting him pull her up feeling confused as to why he called her a 'mom'. Rosa and the young boy started running again. She sped up as she saw her hive in sight, slamming the door shut as she got in, breathing heavily as the worried troll looked out the window she saw-

Nothing, it was day out and there wasn't a single troll out there..odd. After ten minutes of looking around in the window the little grub made himself noticed by the jadeblood, squeaking loudly, making her jump, "You must be hungry," she mumbled, holding him in one arm as she took her jacket off. Carrying the grub to the kitchen, she started to hum, the redblood calmed down, watching her as he was placed on the table to wait for food. After about five minutes Rosa set two plates on the table with pancakes on it. The young grub sniffed it curiously, watching Rosa as she sat down across from him to eat. He made his way over to Rosa as she had began to eat, Rosa softly chuckled, cutting a piece of her pancake off and gave it to him. He pushed it away with his little claw making a 'skree' noise, she sighed. She had expecting as much. she put the pancake on the plate and stood up, to look for something else for him to eat, since they would normally eat anything she figured he must be more of a picky grub. The jadeblood started to look through the cupboards, humming. While the little redblood watched, his curiosity got the best of him after a while and he wondered closer to the plate, picking up the piece of pancake with his front claws, he sniffed it, liking the smell he started nibbling on it. The grub started to purr happily as he ate, Rosa had stopped what she was doing to see what the tiny grub had been up to, crossing her arms, she smiled and walked back over to him, cutting up a few more pieces for him, she smiled, whispering softly. "Your name shall be Kankri.." The little grub squeaked in agreement. She softly laughed, continuing to feed him, feeling very proud, and happy.
