Chapter 12 - How did they get into the accident?

Aunt Jade's POV

"BEEP. BEEP." My phone ringed.

"Hello?" I picked it up, while putting away some of Nikki's toys. "Excuse me, but is this the guardian of Miss Amanda Joan Lim?" The other end of the line said in a serious tone. Oh no. What happened? "Yes, what seems to be the problem?" I asked, knitting my eyebrows. "She has gotten into an accident. I would advice you to come over now to check on her. She is in a serious condition." OH MY GOSH. NO. NOT MY BABY GIRL. NOT ANOTHER ACCIDENT. "Wha... What happened? Was anyone else with her?" I said, on the verge of tears. "Yes. Miss Letitia Moller, Miss Christine Yip, Miss Janelle Tan, and Miss Kyra Chong. Please rush over now, to KK Hospital." And with that, the line went dead. Tears were falling freely on my cheeks. I quickly wiped them away. I literally flew up the stairs, shouted at Valencia to wake up, and bring the kids to the hospital to see their dear sister/cousin. I didn't even give time for them to change and get ready. I just grabbed my phone, my car keys and pushed all of them in to the car. "Aunt Jade? What's going on?" Renae asked, her big eyes full of innocence. "Your sister got into an accident." I stated simply. I was far to worried about her to make up a lie to cover it up for Renae. Her eyes widened. She started mumbling something like "Like daddy and mommy....." She started to sob. Poor girl. Hardly in middle school and her sister is going to die. No. I mustn't think that. She'll be ok..... She'll be ok....

We reached the hospital 10 minutes later. We rushed to level 3, where they keep the 10 and above kids. I ran to the nearest counter I saw. "Excuse me, but I am looking for Miss Amanda Lim." The lady in the front desk looked through some papers, then said "She is still having her operation done at operation room 18" "Thank you." And with that, I ran, I ran all the way to the operation room. I heard footsteps behind me and I assumed it was the rest of the family. Just as I reached, I saw the little box lit up saying that the operation room is being used. I quickly sat down on one of the chairs and covered my face. I couldn't even bring myself to cry. I heard the rest of the kids trying to comfort me, and so was Valencia. "She's gonna be alright sis, don't worry..." Valencia said comfortably. I really hope so..... I really do..... Wait a minute...... Didn't Amanda get into the accident with her best friends, the girls that always come over? Yes, she did! OHMYGODDDDD! I forgot about them! Of course I'm also worried about them, they are the sweetest girls ever. Once, they helped me wash the dishes! I know that's small but still. I'm really worried about all of them... But, one question still burns my mind,
