"We're about to head into high school. I don't even know if we're going to the same school." Bakugo said as I nodded.
I knew where he was coming from. If we did go to different schools then we would meet new people and become distant. But still..it hurt.
"I understand." I said hearing my voice crack a bit as I turned around and began walking home.

The day, Bakugo broke up with me was a horrible day. From what I can remember I just felt sadness and tears. Heartbreak. Of course I had friends that helped me through the break up and I felt so grateful for them.
Now it was the present. The day I would get a letter to see if I was accepted into UA or not.
"It's here!" My mom exclaimed as she opened the door with the letter and groceries.
I rushed to her and helped put the groceries away as I took the letter.
"C'mon, open it!" She said with anticipation.
I felt my heart race as I opened it. I took out a little chip thing and opened it.
"Does that mean you pass?" My mom asked and right as she said that a hologram of All Might appeared right before our eyes.
"I am here!" His voice boomed as I stumbled back as I looked at the letter again.
It also showed a letter.
"As you already know, Y/N, we sent you a recommendation letter. That also meant you had to take a quiz and a quick practice race. You've passed both and I am here to announce that you are accepted into UA! The letter you got is an information sheet of school supplies you need and other information such as uniform." The hologram ended as I stood there with a big smile.
"Of course I knew you would get in! Wait here for a second." My mom bragged as she ran to the fridge and grabbed something.
"Congratulations!" She smiled holding out the cupcake as I read it.
"It says 'Sorry for your failure. '" I said.
"My bad." She nervously told me as she went to the fridge again and now held out the correct cupcake that said, 'I knew you could do it!'
"Can I have both cupcakes?" I asked taking the cupcake.
"No, that one's for me."
"I thought you were on a diet for your wedding..." I said.
After my dad left she moved on and found a new boyfriend. Now her new fiance felt like an actual dad to me. So I support her since the guy isn't lazy and helps mom a lot.
"I can burn the weight off later." My mom assured me.
"Lies." I laughed.
"Shush."
My mom was already skinny but had a bit of weight to her that she calls her lovely love handles.
I ate the cupcake as I opened the letter to see what I needed for school.
"Let me see." My mom said as she grabbed the letter out of my hands and began reading it.
"Rude."
"What time is it?" My mom asked as I looked around for a clock.
"12:32 P.M." I said.
"Oh! Can I hang out with my friends today!" I smiled at her.
"What will you guys be doing?" She asked.
"We're going to go to the movies and then the icecream parlor." I explained.
"I'll let you go if you agree to bring me back icecream." She said.
