I was chilling at my moms crib with my little brother junior since
they were on summer break he goes to NYU.

"Yo man how school,everything going good?"I asked

"Yeah man things good you know basketball going good we are winning most of our matches man and the girls loving on yo boyyyyy."He said grinning

"Man you better be careful with these girls all they gonna do is trap your ass man."I said laughing but serious at the same time

"Okay man enough about me and my bitches, when is your ass gonna find a lady and settle down for real because yo ass is getting old?"He asked

"Nah man I don't think imma settle down cause all these girls want is a nigga to take care of em buying em shit they can't afford and trap a nigga." I said seriously

"I'on think you have been looking man not all women want a nigga to take care of em, some of dem girls be hustling and making dat coin man busting dere asses off so they can live good." He said sounding smart and shit

Mama came in from the kitchen being nosey

"What is y'all dumb asses talking bout?" She asked with her hands on her hips

"Ma you act like you don't have 7 grand kids by Mara and Dre." I said

I just shook my head at him and walked to the kitchen to find something to eat because I know how's feeling I was like that at his age including Dre

Damita's POV

I was sitting at Nobu's with my sisters to catch up on how they are,we do this every Wednesday it's our way of bonding as sisters as we get older we've always been close and we don't want to lose that bond we have especially since everyone's busy with their own personal lives then on Sunday's we are at our parents house for dinner where we all catch up on each other's lives.

"So I went on a lunch date on Monday with this guy I met and well we've been talking and face timing before the date and I'm starting to like him like really really like him and his just..."Vanessa said day dreaming

"Ooooo so date huh? Who is this guy? How did you guys meet? Do we know him?"I asked teasingly and excited

"Mita stop asking too many questions let the girl finish."Monica said with the same excitement making nessa look at her

"You guys can't help yourselfs huh? Well anyways you guys don't know him-

"Yet we don't know him yet" I said interrupting her

"As I was saying you guys don't know him, he's not from here" Vanessa said shyly playing with her food

"What do you mean he's not from here? Then how did you guys go on a date? Are y'all doing that long distance relationship?"Monica asked

"No no of course not, what I meant was that he's from Jamaica but moved her about 6 months ago and we've been talking for 3 of those months and we meet through mutual friends, where we started chatting then it was calling then face timing and the rest is history" Vanessa said smiling

"Bitchhhhhhhhhhh you don got yourself an island man with a long shaft huh? I see you Nessa, ICU"I said taking a long sip of my Long Island ice tea

We all burst out laughing

"Girl you know I had to I'm tired of these American men and by the looks of it the man is blessed" Vanessa said with a head shake smiling
