I was a little confused on what he meant.

"What's going on? What are you talk in about? And why are you keeping secrets from me?" My anger was beginning to rise and I knew Jared had felt it. He took a deep breath and began again.

"Jewel, have you ever heard of an alpha?" The question surprised me. "Well of course I've heard of an alpha, everybody knows what it is."

"Then you know about wolfs?" I was beggining to get irritated. "Listen, you better start getting to the point because I am getting vary aggravated right now! Stop talking about things I already know and spit it out already!"

Jared stiffined and winced at my anger and power in my voice. Then he spoke. "Listen, I think it would be better if I showed you." I sighed in anger and followed him outside. He took a few steps away from me and cautioned me.

"You might want to stand back. And no matter what happens, just stay there and I will explain everything when I'm done showing you."

What I saw next was like nothing I had ever seen before. He took a few running steps, leaped into the air and morphed into a wolf. I stood there unable to believe what I was seeing. He was a wolf! He had dark, ashy blond fur. Just like his hair when he was in  human form. I stared at him mesmerized at how this was able to happen.

He changed back to his human form and took a step forward. I stood there and waited for him to explain like he promised. He began to speak. "Jewel, I am part of your fathers pack. He is our alpha. And when your father can no longer hold up the responsibility of alpha, it will be passed down to you.

"I'm confused. How the hell did you turn into a damn wolf?!"

He paused and then spoke. "Jewel, we are wolves, its been a part of out family tree since the beginning of time. I know this I difficult for you to understand, but I promise you that over time you will be able to understand everything."

"So am I able to change into a wolf?"

"Yes, that is why I am here. I am your trainer and I here to help you master your morphing skills, as well as your fighting skills."

"So when will I be able to try and change into my word form?"

He was a little taken back by my question but answered anyway. "I have never heard someone so exited to get started. If you would like to try then go ahead. Take a deep breath and relax. Imagine yourself changing into the wolf. Imagine yourself being the wolf.

I did so and took a deep breath. I followed what he did when he changed. I leaped into the air, but when I hit the ground I was still in my human form. I didn't work.

"Jared looked a little dissapointed. "You have to believe you can do it. Show that you're able to do anything. Prove that you can do the impossible.

I looked at him. "But I'm still confused." He looked sincere. "Its ok. Do you want to give it another try?" I nodded my head. "Yes". He smiled. "Good. But remember to believe you can do it." I nodded again. "Ok".

I took a few steps back and imagined me changing into my wolf. Me being the wolf. But this time I believed I could do it. I started running again. I still imagined me being my inner word and believed I could. This time when I hit the ground, I was on all fours. I opened my eyes and realised I did it! I looked and Jared and my father and they were both really exited. I began walking around exploring my new body. I was practicly wagging my tail in excitment! I began running towards the woods. Jared followed me and turned into his wolf form. WS both ran into the woods. My sensces were working ten times better. I felt the grass and dirt between my paws as a ran faster and faster through the woods. It was like a dream come true. But then something made this experience even better. I started hearing a voice in my head. It was Jared.

"I want you to meet the rest of the pack". I looked at him "ok".

We started running in a different direction toward and open area. When we got closer I noticed there were other wolves there. When we approached, I could hear them all talking to each other through their wolf form

Jared stepped in front of me and began to speak. "Can I have your attention please! I would like to make an anouncment". He moved a step over so everybody could see me.
"I would like to introduce the alphas daughter. Alpha jewel!"

Everybody looked at me for a moment, then one wolf took a step forward. She had grey fur and bright blue eyes. After she took a few steps forward, she positioned herself and howled to the sky. After she howled she bowed down in front of me. Everybody did the same, even Jared. I stood there as everybody howled and bowed to me.

So this is what its like to be an alpha.
