Taeyeon puts another box on the dining table and stretches. "Ouch..." she mumbles, massaging her back while watching the men who are placing the heavier stuff in the apartment, under the direction of her best friend-slash-roommate.

Once the moving men have left, she walks over to where Tiffany is unpacking and helps her.

It takes them a couple of days to settle down but they've finally done it and Taeyeon can't be happier since she now gets to put that huge statue of her favorite Disney character in the living room without anyone complaining.

When they were still living with their other friends—a living arrangement that started in college because money is tight when you're a student—she had to be considerate towards her roommates so she only had her small room to decorate. Although she is still sharing her living space now, there's only Tiffany there who understands her more than anyone and is willing to compensate—and who thankfully loves Disney just as much as she does.

"Taeyeon-ah..."

She hears Tiffany calling her when she's busy taking pictures and videos of the new living room—and her beloved statue—with her phone.

"Hm? What?"

"Give me a hand."

She pockets her phone and walks over to Tiffany's room to see the two puppies trying to jump inside her roommate's open luggage that's on the floor.

Chuckling, she grabs Princess and holds her, cooing while frowning when the pup tries to lick her face.

She takes her to the other side of the small fence Tiffany has placed in one corner of the apartment, puts her down and goes to do the same to Prince.

The makeshift pen or pet corner is another thing they really like about their new apartment. In their old one, there were other pets owned by their other friends so it was hard to share what limited space they had. There were arguments that ensued over the animals and the allergies they caused, and it became one of the reasons why they decided to move out altogether.

"Thanks," says Tiffany after Taeyeon returned to the room to tell her that the dogs have been placed in their corner. She resumes unpacking her last luggage while Taeyeon just stands in the doorway of her room, watching her.

After a while, she feels the eyes on her and looks up. "What?"

"Nothing."

"If you have nothing to do then help me."

"No way. I don't want to get scolded by Miss Perfectionist Hwang," teases Taeyeon, knowing how particular Tiffany can be about her things.

Tiffany rolls her eyes. "You're just lazy," she says as she picks up a pile of clothes and heads to her wardrobe. "You can't wear my clothes if you don't wanna help me with them," she states, since they often borrow each other's clothes.

She has just placed the stack neatly on a shelf when she feels a gentle touch on both sides of her waist, followed by a soft kiss on her shoulder, making her smile.

"Can I help take your clothes off instead then?" whispers Taeyeon as she wraps her arms around Tiffany.

Tiffany chuckles and turns around to see the girl smirking. She holds her face by the cheeks and gives it a gentle shake. "You little pervert. No, my clothes stay on."

Taeyeon pouts cutely and Tiffany can't stop herself from giving her a kiss on the lips.

This is the main reason why they moved out, aside from the pet and space issues. They need more privacy now that they've decided to take their relationship further, beyond just being best friends.
