Chapter 1 - DREAM 🌀

Today DEC 31st 2033 in SALZBURG the most beautiful city of Austria, 20mins away from midnight, yes the night of New Year. Usually, around this time every city, street, and corner will be filled with people enjoying with friends and family and waiting to welcome the New Year.

But today it is the complete opposite, not even 1000 people can be found to be awake in the whole city, while everyone else sleeping wearing a strange VR helmet with white and blue lights flashing and on back of the helmet having the imprint DREAM Inc. Actually, for the past 3years, this is how people were celebrating the new year's night. Because today is the 5th anniversary of the world's famous VR game DREAM.

Meanwhile, someone rang the doorbell in one of the mansions belonging to the Stone family. The Stone family is the richest having control of both Political and all Business in Austria.

Stone family head Mr. Fabian Stone considering one of the most powerful men in Austria controlling every industry field with his 2 sons and controlling the Gaming industry with his one and only daughter.

After opening the door in a rush a heavy voice shouted at the person outside "Idiot, what took you so long?" by an almost 15-year-old handsome and well-dressed boy who looks like an idol. This person is the 4th and last son of the stone family Jacob Stone.

"Sorry Jacob, I had to get permission from my mom" nervously said an already 15year old boy who's dressing, face and hair clearly show he's been slept almost missing this important day. This is Chace Lehner the childhood and best friend of Jacob.

"You liar, come in quickly we have only 15mins until midnight. We have been waiting for 5years for this day" said Jacob with a smile all over his face while dragging Chace straight through the hallway and finding the staircase being blocked by an old butler named Alexander.

"Young Master, please think once again. It's your 15th birthday today do you want to be inside a stupid video game while missing your birthday party, also madam stone will be calling to wish you" said Alex the butler.

After hearing the words 'stupid video game' Jacob's eyes filled with rage, "Please Move away Alex or you may have to lose your job and I've already spoken with mom, she won't be calling today" said Jacob with red stiff face showing his controlled anger.

Seeing this reaction, Alex slowly moved away from the staircase making a path for two Youngman to go.

"Sorry, he didn't mean what he said," said Chace and Alex waved his hand with a gentle smile indicating 'I know'.

Jacob entering his room going straight to the 2 Dream VR Helmets next to his bed followed by Chace saying "You jerk, do you have to act like that to Alex, what happened to the Jacob who viewed Alex as his family. Make sure to go and say you're sorry",

without any changes in his face Jacob said "I will. Now Quickly Wear them, our 5 years dream of playing this game will become reality today".

But Chace didn't receive his Helmet and having his hands folded and staring straight at Jacob.

"I promise I will apologies tomorrow morning to Alex, now please don't delay we only have 5mins," said Jacob.

Knowing that Jacob always keeps his promise Chace put his helmet with a smile and laid on the sofa next to the bed where Jacob is currently lying.

"Brother we will meet inside the game, hehe." Said Jacob and started his Dream helmet, and continuous computer voices are heard inside his head.
