chapter 5

5-1-20

I wake up with a text from my birth mom she wants to know about my family and see pictures but I'm not all that sure yet that I want her a part of my life what if this is just a way to get money out of us I just want to know that my mother I mean Martha wants to be here for us. anyways I jump out of bed and go to the kitchen and cook up my famous egg scrambler and set the kids plates up and then go wake them up

"sammie sweetheart food" I peer into her room to see her and anna snuggled 

"anna sweetheart food" I close the door 

"Charles its time to get up food is downstairs" I peer into his room and then go wake my husband up

"Liam hun its time to wake up food is ready"

I can't believe I get to do this every morning for my family its, not something I feel like I have to do when I found I was pregnant with Charles I started doing to get into the habit so even when I was tired I would still do it and then sam came along and it's just been a habit since. I hear footsteps rushing down the stairs and my heart is filled with so much joy. 

today is going to be so crazy I have so much to do, today I'm going to meet anna's parents and talk about everything, I'm kind of nervous I have so much to ask them. everyone eats and anna and Charles get ready and Liam gets sam ready and I clean the dishes and hurry up and get ready.  I take my 2 and 4-year-old to daycare and then go to jail. when I get there they bring me to a room and search me and then they take me to a room where they both sit with two guards.

"Hi it is so nice to meet the one who is taken care of our Annabell" may say's 

"thank you she is our world," Micheal says's

"she is precious, I hope you guys trust me to raise her," I say

"you seem like a lovely woman we heard you have you have two little ones," mike says 

"I do, well if you count my two miscarriages it would be 4, two boys two girls," I say 

"that's so sad, but we had 3 of them before I conceived Annabell and one after"

"I couldn't imagine that I'm so sorry, but can we get to buzziness," I say

"of course," they say 

"how long is the sentence," I ask 

"10years," both of them says 

"would you be okay signing over custody over to me," I ask 

they look at each other and then back at me 

"will we be able to see her every year on her birthday," she asked

"for ten years ?"

"yes," he says 

"so every year on August 15th, for 10 years," I ask 

"YES," they say 

"of course, I think that can be arranged," I say 

"thank you, is there any other times we can see her" may asks

"that's up to Annabell," I say 

"can she write us letter's every couple of weeks or months," mike says 

"Again it's up to her I will support her, "I say 

they sign the papers and I bring them to the foster building and  talk to Mr.sanders

"they signed this," he asked

"they did, so does that mean Liam and I will have legal guardianship of anna," I ask
