Betrayal: First Year [Editing]

CHAPTER 1

It was the first day of school, and I was very nervous. I mean I was the only girl of my kind at my school (as far as I knew). I'll admit was scared out o my mind, but then I saw him look at me and everything went black for a minute

I got to know Kurtis, a.k.a. Kurt, during a summer band camp at the school. It was hot, and we were sweating so much while marching, but I didn't care. For some reason, whenever I saw him I couldn't help but smile.

Anyways, as I was saying, I blacked out for a minute and when I awoke he was right there in front of me looking at me with eyes so red I was strangely scared, but then I saw the most beautiful shade of brown coming from the middle of the contact and I couldn't help be lured into the beauty of them. He spoke to me with a voice so deep and smooth that I didn't even pay attention to what he was saying until I noticed I was no longer in the cafeteria.

I asked him where I was; he looked at me and laughed so sweetly I just had to laugh along with him. He told me what had happened and told me he had to bring me to the nurse's office. At that point I was blushing like crazy. When he pointed it out it just made me blush deeper and laugh. By that time it was fourth period and he walked me to m y class and told me to wait for him before lunch. He said he wanted to introduce me to his friends. When I walked into the classroom, someone asked me why I was smiling so big, but I just ignored her and took a seat. I couldn't wait for lunch.

By the time the lunch bell rang I was so excited I felt sick to my stomach. I knew he was a sweet, funny guy that knew how to make a girl happy. He let me pay my lunch and guided me towards the round table at the furthest right corner of the whole cafeteria. He told me to sit down and get comfortable, so I did. When I was all settled in he started.

The first girl he introduced was the most "Dramatic" of everyone. Her name was Jerri; she had long light brown hair, hazel eyes, pale tan skin, heart shaped lips, and she was tall. But then again they all were so it didn't matter. She looked up at me from her script and smiled a beautiful set of shinning white teeth. He told me she was Drum Major 1 in our high school band and always got the lead roles in school plays. I gathered some courage and finally said, "Hi, I'm Kira". When she spoke back to me it was like the most beautiful song I've ever heard.

Next was her twin sister, Clarri, the laid back one of the group. She looked exactly like Jerri but somehow very different. She had long brown hair with blond highlights, heart shaped lips, hazel eyes, but she was a bit paler than Jerri. I found that strange but didn't think too much about it. I nodded and said' "Hi", again I heard the sound of bells in the twins voice (in a higher pitch, but beautiful all the same).

After Clarri came the only other male at the table. His name was Jay' he was the laid back music lover/singer of the group. He was tan pale and had blue eyed, plump lips, dark hair that fell ever so perfectly into place on his forehead. Kurt told me he was Drum Major 3 in the band and a really fun loving, sweet, funny guy. I said my hellos and heard him speak with a voice so low, cool, smooth, and fierce. What really caught my attention though was the way he looked at Jerri, eyes filled with so much love and longing to be with her I had to look away before crying.

Then Jay started talking about how Kurt had beat him and gotten the position of Drum Major 2 from him. I started to wonder my mind away and caught myself lingering my gaze upon Kurtis, taking in his appearance. Lean but buff, long black hair with blue and red highlights, light brown eyes with red contacts over them. Although all those things would be a good thing to catch my eyes it didn't, what actually caught my eyes was his skin color. He was pale like the moon on a summers night. He was tall (well taller than me anyway). When he saw me looking at him he smiled a bright beautiful smile so contagious that everyone at the table started smiling their super bright smiles I had to look away before going blind! At that moment i realized i had maade friends that would stick by me through thick and thin , and they would be my friends for eternity.

The next day when I entered the school there they were; Jerri, Clarri, Jade, Jay, and most importantly Kurt. Jerri was talking and flirting with Jay while Clarri was going over some cheerleading moves with Jade and some other girli couldnt see to well. Kurt on the other hand was just standing there reading the manga book i had gotten him during camp. He looked up from the page he was on and smiled, I knew he saw me but what i didnt understand was why he smiled so much when he looked at me. I ignored the thought and kept walking towrds him, next thing I knew we were hugging. All of a suddon i felt a rush if energy and saw everything, so much happening in so little time, I was overwhelmed. When he felt my tears hit his shoulder it was like a sign to hug me tighter. When the girl that was with Clarri and Jade saw us she got so mad, she got off the stage they were practicing on and ran towards us in a rampage. Next thing I knew she got me by the shoulder and tore Kurt and I apart. Kurt looked at her in slight anger as he helped me up from the floor where she had pushed me, she looks at me then at kurt nd runs aways with tears in her eyes. Clarri came up to me and apologized for what the girl had done, while she was explaining to me about her condition i just nodded in confermation. She mentioned that the girl was Bi-Polar and had the biggest crush on kurt for the past year. I shrugged my shoulders nd simply said," Its ok i dont hold grudges".

It was a week before the girl came up to me again. This time she came with a boy by her side. He was tall, caramel colored skin, big full lips, had a buff beautiful body (visibal through his tight muscle shirt, with he was wearing becausehe had just come from athletics). He had short jet black hair and the prettiest honey brown eyes (for a mortal I guess haha). She had come to appolagize for that day, but I just couldn't pay attention to what she was saying. I was mezmorized by such beauty; Thin, tall, pale, big lips, beautiful ocean blue eyes, and hair like the fire burning in a fire place on a winter's cold night. Her name just like her was a true beauty, her name was Destiny Saphire and the boy that was with her was Dj. She told her he was her boyfriend she explained that she had gon on rampage because she had had the BIGGEST crush on Kurtis before her and Dj had gotten together. I told her it was fine and that I probably would have done the same if I was caught in the same situation, but in my mind I was really saying," just because you like someone that doesn't like you back don't mean you can go off like that on someone you dont even know".v
