The Great Falcon Sea

The Story

Chapter 1 

In a faraway place that no one knew existed. A cat and a dog wondered to the dark woods, in search of a brave and fearless knight. They got halfway through the woods when they got attacked by a big and terrible monster. The monster was half way between them and a big tree, when all of a sudden a knight in shining armour jumped down from the tree tops onto of the monster. She drew her sword and sliced it through the monsters belly killing it. She climbed off the dead monster and then introduced herself "I'm Alexandra," she held out her hand, the cat and the dog both shacked Alexandra's hand in turn. "I'm Macgee prince of the cats," "and I'm Meria princess of the dogs." "We are going to 'The Great Falcon Sea' on a quest to save our kingdoms' from destruction," Macgee said heroically puffing out his chest. "Could you please come with us as a protector our last one died at the sand pits. Good knights are hard to find these days" Meria said calmly. "I'll be honoured" Alexandra said with no hesitations, "could we get going I want to reach that silly sea by the end of this week" Macgee interrupted. "Why do you be so mean Macgee," Meria shot back. "Gould we please stop fighting we need to get out of these woods before it dark." Alexandra broke up the argument. Macgee and Meria both agreed and then they followed Alexandra through the trees. They finally reached the other side of the woods when trouble occurred. A big, hairy, scary monster appeared out of nowhere. His teeth bared, his claws showing, his hair flying and his horns aimed strait at them. Alexandra simply took out her sword and raising it to be in level with the monsters heart. With that the monster lowered his claws and closed his mouth. His horns were still aimed, the monster than lunged forward just missing the sword. Alexandra jumped to the side making the monster miss her and get his horns stuck in a tree. Alexandra took that opportunity to kill the monster. She put her sword in the monsters back killing it almost instantly she pulled her sword back out wiping the blood on the hair of the monster. "Now that the monsters dead, lets camp out there" Alexandra said pointing to a sand dune. "Very well" Macgee said picking up his tail to clean it. Alexandra, Macgee and Meria started to walk to the sand dunes when Macgee's hat flew off his head and landed on the sand dune they all than ran to the sand dune. Macgee picked up his hat brushed off the sand and put it on his head. Alexandra got some wood for the fire and got some leaves for a hut. They all settled down next to the fire than they went to bed.

Chapter 2 

They woke up to Alexandra cooking breakfast on the fire. "Ahh your awake at last," Alexandra said stirring the gooey mixture. She than severed up breakfast, Macgee and Meria ate really fast but Alexandra didn't eat anything, because she had already had her breakfast. Alexandra than packed up the camp site so that the leaves could be carried on their backs. Macgee picked up his hat and brushed off the sand once more, he put it on his head and said, "Grrr I hate it when my hat gets dirty."Meria stretched and picked up her bracelets and put then on, "why do you have to be so mean all the time," she said calmly. "Come on," Alexandra said, "we have to get going," "how far left till we get to 'The Great Falcon Sea'," Meria asked Alexandra wondering. "Just past those sand dunes, all during hot whether and a bit than we should be there" Alexandra answered pointing at the sand dunes. "Then let's go" Macgee said walking in the direction of the sand dunes. Alexandra, Macgee and Meria once again set off on their mission, to save their kingdoms from destruction. They walked and walked till they got to the sand dunes. Beyond the sand dunes was a pale red desert like scenery. Macgee and Meria both gasped at the same time "it may look huge but its small compared to your heart" Alexandra said gracefully. The three of them slid down the sand dunes in turn they walked for a while, When the ground started to vibrate, and a hole appeared right in front of them. The ground stopped vibrating and a giant red belly black snake slivered out of the black hole. Alexandra drew her sword to the monstrous snake and cut its face, it hissed in agony. "Get back on the sand dunes Macgee and Meria" Alexandra said dodging the snake's venomous fangs. With that Macgee and Meria climbed up the sand dune, they stayed there for a while on the top of the sand dunes watching Alexandra dodging and lunging at the snake. Macgee and Meria ducked behind the sand dunes, just as Alexandra slayed the terrible beast, she than called "Macgee, Meria come on the beast is no more". Macgee than Meria stumbled down the dunes to where Alexandra was standing. "We need to get to the lake before it gets to dark if want to get to the Great Falcon Sea tomorrow" Alexandra said turning around and started to walk. Macgee and Meria followed "I'm glad I came on this mission now" said Macgee trying to catch up with the others. They reached the lake in no time, Alexandra got the wood from her back pack of leaves and lit the fire and set up the huts. They fell asleep in no time.
