AMELIAS POV: It was a bright summers day and I was hanging out the clothes. "MUMMY" yelled Bree. "Yes Brianna" I replied. "I made a card for you" she said puffed out from running around the house trying to find me. I looked at the red card. It had love hearts drawn on the front around a drawing of two stick figure girls. "This ones you mummy and this ones me" said Bree pointing to the two girls. I smiled and took the card from her hands. I opened the card. To Mummy, I love you so much. Love from Brianna. I closed the card. I had tears in my eyes. I pulled my daughter into a hug. "I love you too Brianna" I smiled. 3 years passed. Bree was now 9 and Mark was now 4. "Mark honey, do you want to ride a horsey?" I smiled. "NO" said Mark angrily. "I hate horses" he said he walked into his new room and slammed the door. Tears sprung into my eyes. Was Mark ever going to like horses? I hope so. There was a knock at the door. I opened it to see Charley enter the room. "Hey Mia" he said. "Hey Charley" I smiled. I offered him a biscuit but he refused. "I need to go talk to my son" said Charley he turned his back to me and walked off. He has been doing this to me a lot lately. I am getting worried. Is it about me? Who knows? When I'm sure that the door is closed. I tiptoe down the hallway and stand with my ear against the door. "NO I REFUSE" said Mark. "Me too" replied Charley. "I have never liked them" said Mark. "Me neither" said Charley. What was this about. Then I heard it. I mean I actually heard what it was about. The horses. They were talking about the horses. Non of them liked the horses! What was I going to do? I couldn't get rid of them horses are my life! Then I heard footsteps coming towards the door. I quickly ran back into the kitchen and shoved a few spring rolls into the oven like nothing happened. "Why did you put spring rolls in the oven without a tray?" Asked Charley confused. "Umm woops I forgot" I said. I quickly pulled them out and put them on a tray. Charley shook his head from side to side looking confused and walked off. The next day Charley came up to me. "Me and my son have decided on something" he said. I gulped. I knew what this was going to be about. "We want to get rid of the horses" he said. "NO NO AND NO" I yelled. "I mean ummm why?" I asked. "Uhhhh we don't like horses" said Charley. "How could of You never told me?" I asked angrily. "That's what I was angry at you for" said Charley raising his voice. "You should of noticed! I have always refused to ride one and I am never around them" yelled Charley. I stood there speechless. I knew I had no choice I had to choose between family and horses. "Family" I said sadly. Before I knew it in a months time the new owners arrived with a horse float. I kissed all the horses goodbye with tears in my eyes. The family drove of twenty minutes later. Now the yard was empty. My daughter was in her room crying. I couldn't take it I started crying too. This was one of the saddest parts of my life. I began to cry and let all the feelings out. This was one of the worst days.
