Chapter 1.2 (At First Glance)

As Sakura falls down from the hokage monument,she could feel the light air around her.All what she could see is darkness,nothing more than that."So this what death feels like..."she whispers to her self.She shut her eyes tight to conjure her last moment.

As she continues to fa down halfway through something dusty wraps around her.Thus catching her and safely putting her on lower ground.She opens her eyes to see from up above the Kazekage himself with his sand hovering around him.He must have saved her but.....why?

She fell on her knees as the Kazekage hovers down to her using his sand."I'm....sorry."Sakura said as she lowers her head.The Kazekage silently gazes at her nonetheless he feels pity for her."It's okay..."the Kazekage said.Sakura stands up and bows to show respect for the one who saved her."I just want to end it all...."Sakura said."What do you want to end?"the Kazekage asks.Sakura quickly lifts her head up to stare at the Kazekage who is looking at her apathetically."My life because he's gone."Sakura replies.The Kazekage looks at her straight in her emerald green eyes meeting with his aquamarine eyes."There are people that still wants you to live.People that don't care wants you to die but people that cares about you wants you to live."the Kazekage said.Sakura broke her eye contact with him,she's awed by his demeanor and and answer.She now realizes something that she didn't realized for a long time.She looks and sounds like a big idiot now,she has been weak and idiotic.She acts so tough but on the inside she's cowering with her own fears.Tears start to roll down her cheeks,she couldn't do anything now rather than cry.

She felt something warm around her,she opens her eyes to see Gaara hugging her.She couldn't help but to flush red instead of crying.She knows Gaara is almost and always emotionless."H-how?"Sakura utters."The war has taught me something..."Gaara said as he hugs her more.She hugs him back and cries on his shoulder.The war changed all of them even if its good or bad."Please live for me..."Gaara said as he lightly kisses her forehead.She couldn't help but to smile a little and nod.
