CHAPTER 1-Alyx

Did I want this for myself?
No.
Did I understand a thing that happened?
No.
Do I deserve this shitty, dangerous, yet fun life?
You could say that.
Look, I just wanted to be normal, but I'm not. Did I confuse you enough now? Good. Now here's how the shit went down.
I was upstairs, blaring some music from my phone. Maddi and Arthur were supposed to come soon to work on a school project. I had already been planning out some things for it, but I couldn't seem to get my head straight. At this point, I was laying on my bed waiting for one of them to arrive.
The front door downstairs opened, and I jumped out of bed to see which shit was here.
Nobody was.
"I guess it's just my mind," I thought.
I went back upstairs and sat on my bed again.
And then the front door opened downstairs again. This time, it was Maddi. Maddi was a pretty girl, she had long black hair that came almost to her waist. She had Onyx Black eyes that made it when you look into her eyes they look like they are staring into your soul, she might sound intimidating, but she was really a sweet heart and goody two shoes. Today she was wearing a black hoodie with white ripped jeans
"Hey Mads. Come up here,"
When she came upstairs, Arthur had already opened the door again.
"Arthur come up here," I yelled.
Minutes passed. Nobody came upstairs.
I peeked out the door with Maddi to see if he had actually opened the door, and something thumped the huge window behind us. We both turned. Now, this window basically is my whole wall. We would be able to see anything that was there or around it.

Nothing was there.
"This is, this isn't..." I said.
"I swear I heard that door open. I swear," Maddi said.
I hear the sound of a click of a door handle, and there was Arthur. Arthur was a kind Person his left eye was purple were as his right eye was green. He had shaggy brown hair that was short. He was wearing a blue t-shirt with a white jacket.
"Hey... did you uh... come in earlier? A few minutes ago maybe?" I asked.
"Uh...no. You guys get creeped out so easily. If I get creeped out, you guys are in trouble. But I'll keep you little ladybugs safe."
He came up the stairs with a bag of things we needed for the project. Then, we started carefully putting together a solar powered robot.
"I forgot the paper. I'll go get it downstairs," I said.
When I was coming back up the stairs, I heard that same 'thump' on the window. I walked faster.
When I opened the door, both Arthur and Maddi stared at me, wide eyed.
"What was that?"
"Something... I don't..." Arthur replied.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Maddi screamed.
We both looked at the window again, and there was a motherfucking dragon.
It shattered the window and started climbing into my room. Obviously, we screamed and basically jumped down the stairs. Arthur, being Arthur, swiped a butter knife as we trampled each other into the bathroom and locked the door.
"What. The. Fuck," Arthur screamed.
"That thing is not from this world," Maddi said.
"No shit, Sherlock. What do we do now? Wait in here as a motherfucking DRAGON tries to find us?" I said.
And then I heard a scream. Not a bad scream, like a Maddi or Arthur scream,because I don't scream duh, it was more of a heroic war cry.
I heard a loud shreak. And then silence, followed by a high-five sounding noise.
"Hello?" Arthur screamed.
I slapped him. "Don't give us away!"
"I'm going in," he said, unlocking the door, I know it sounds bad but i was glad he went in and took one for the team.... Before I could say anything, he was out the door.
"Better follow him," Maddi said. She jumped out the door.
"Wait what?" I shouted. I have no say in the two little shits' choices, and I guess not even mine, because I walked out after her.
When I walked out, I saw nothing but golden dust every where. In the middle of the mess were two young adults covered in the same gold dust. One had Striking grey eyes that looked like they calculated your every move. She had honey blond curls that were tied in a messy pony tail. The other was a young man, with sea green eyes that looked like the waves on calm beach day. He had black messy hair, that looked like he just got out of bed.

At first i was frightened that they had gotten into my house, but then i was relieved. If they hadn't shown up we would have been toast. Arthur would have tried to kill it with a butter knife and Maddi would of took a book out of her bag and thrown it.
