Jennie POVThere she goes again, on a motorcycle no less, I knew she was trouble. And maybe it also had to do with the way that all the girls around me both lower and upperclassmen whispered about her, but I knew better than to stay away. She was bad in more than one way it seemed. Bad for me, and just bad in general.
But that didn't stop me from looking at her every once in a while, and it also didn't stop me from blushing every time she caught me staring.
It was my junior year and her senior year, that she finally came up to me. I had thought after nearly three whole years of catching the others looking at me, she would have made her way over to me sooner. But maybe she had other things to do, prettier girls to look at. When she finally did come up to me, I was at my locker, packing my bag for the day cause I was out of this bitch. I was supposed to be walking home and then meeting my best friend Lisa for pizza later on tonight after I did my homework. I was glad that it was Friday, but that didn't mean I couldn't do my homework early.
"Hey." a voice interrupted my thoughts as I packed my things away, frightening me for a second. She sounded so confident when she spoke, even in that one little word. My eyes widened at her, wondering what she could possibly want from me. her leather jacket hung lazily off her frame and I couldn't help but steal glances at how toned the muscles of her stomach were, her shirt lifted up slightly as she leaned up against the lockers to talk to me.
"Uhh, hi?" I said, absolutely confused and wondering what she wants for me. She chuckled at me.
"What's your name beautiful?" she asked as her brown eyes look at me with a smile.
"I'm Kim Jennie", I said.
"Pretty name." She said, her eyes trailing quickly up my body checking me out. There seemed to be a bit of a confused expression on her face like she wasn't sure how to talk to me. Which made the two of us. "Why haven't I heard it before?" she asked eyebrow-raising. Was she flirting with me? I wonder?
"Uh, I don't know maybe because I'm a junior", I said, as if that was enough of an excuse.
Her eyebrows furrowed after a few seconds, but then she nodded, "That must be it." and then she was looking at me with that devilish smile of hers. Except I had never realized just how adorable it was with those dimples of hers.
"You know who I am Right?", She said
"Yeah, I know who you are", I said with a smile.
"Do you need a ride home?", She asked me.
"A-A ride?" I asked, just picturing myself for a moment on her motorcycle and feeling a little terrified at the thought.
She nodded, "Yeah. I don't usually give girls a ride, but I think I can make an exception for you." and she winked at me, biting her lip for a second before she grinned at me.
"I would have to tell you where I live," I said as if that was an excuse to get out of it. But I know she wasn't giving up.
"Good. That just means when I want to see you again this weekend, I know where to look.", She said biting her lips.
"This weekend?" I asked a little bit confused about why she wanted to see me on the weekend.
She nodded, "Yeah, I would like to take you out sometime if that's alright.", She said and proceed to say, " she just doesn't take anybody out like that."
I look at her for a second trying to process what she just said and think about it for a sec. Mmh how bad could it be?
"Sure," I said with confidence, nodding before slinging my backpack over my shoulder and closing my locker.
" That's good to hear", She said and she grabs me and took me towards the parking lot, where her bike was. I'm not gonna lie I was frightened, but at least she had an extra helmet if not I would've died of terror. I was surprised that she even had an extra. Had she been planning on asking me all day? How long had it taken Rosé, the school's bad girl, to work up the courage to come to talk to me? I felt my heart stammer, but I smiled thinking about it. Maybe she had a soft spot for girls like me. Or maybe it was just me that she had a soft spot for. I blushed at my thoughts.
" You ready Jennie", She said as I put the helmet on.
" Yup I'm ready", I said.
" Okay hold on to me Jennie", She said in the sweetest voice ever.
My hands looped under her arms, securing me to her back since I was scared asf. She seemed to feel it through my contact with her back, as she chuckled and said, "Your heart is about to explode in a sec, sweetheart." then she kicked up the engine and I was off, flying through the parking lot and then the streets, holding tight to her back.
We then arrived at my house, I wasn't sure if I was relieved or disappointed that it was over. I had never felt such a rush in my life and I kind of wanted to do it again. I had always been slightly afraid of the speed and sleek build of motorcycles, but now it was like I was on an adrenaline high. I wanted to yell like a child, "Again, again!"
"Did you like that?", She asked when I returned her extra helmet. I nodded, her grin was wider and her dimples deeper than I had seen them. I felt the sudden urge to lean forward and kiss her, but I held myself back. She nodded toward my house, "Pick you up at eight tomorrow?"
" Yeah that sounds good, see yah", I said walking to the house.
" Hey Jennie before you go can I get s kiss", She said while smirking.
" I don't think you earn a kiss just yet", I said with confidence surprising myself at the same time.
She gave me a look and look away smiling, she then put on her helmet and was ready to leave.
" I'm gonna get that kiss, Jennie, just watch," she said and with that, she left.
I didn't know how it had begun, but I wanted to see where this was going.
