Joseph Joestar. You had dreamt about the man behind that name often. Tapping the pen to your lips again you scribbled down a note. Tch no, no no no no no it was all wrong. You gritted your teeth and crumpled the paper and tossed it behind you, the ever growing pile of papers around your trash bin rustling. Your trusty old clock ticked away on the wall, showing the time to be 5:36pm. You'd seen him, with that one kid. Yeah that was it, you'd seen him and then he- no nevermind that would just be creepy. Maybe you could write him a letter? An invite? Argh but to what was the question.
Your troubled mutterings were interrupted by a knock at the door. Strange, you thought. Your apartment was rarely visited at this time, usually it was the time dinner was prepared.
You sighed and pulled your body out if the chair, softly padding up to the visitor behind wood. "Hello, no I'm not interested in buying-" your words caught in your throat as you looked up to see a tall brunette inspecting a piece of paper. He scrutinized it again and turned to you. "You're Ms.(y/n) (l/n), right?" He asked while peering into the messy workspace behind you. Your face flushed slightly at the intrusion of this man. "Yeah, she's me. What can I do for you?" You groaned internally. What can I do for you? God...way to go genious, absolutely brilliant with that one.
He smiled brightly, and you noticed his lovely British accent. "I got info from someone that you were looking for me." Your eyes widened and you subconsciously hid behind the door. Oh no who told him? Mind racing you took a small breath and steadied yourself. "Yes, so I did. Uh... Would you like to come in?" It was at this moment you promised yourself you'd never share info again, mentally faceplaming at the tricky situation you'd gotten yourself into. You couldn't just shoo him away without being rude could you? "Sure, if you don't mind." He ducked under your doorway, his broad, muscular shoulders tilting to fit. Jesus he was built. So so very built.
Nervously you ushered him onto a chair by the warm fireplace, the evening slowly turning foggier outside. "Would you like anything to eat or drink?" You asked as you made your way across the room. His eyes trailed you and you thought of all sorts of ideas that would make any proper lady blush. "Coffee if you have any." His voice was carefree and relaxed with the smirk behind it almost audiable. It only took a few minutes, but it seemed to be longer as your poured the brewed contents into two cups to drink. Walking over you placed his beverage on the small knee height table in front of him, taking a seat by him and crossing your legs in the tight pencil skirt you had decided to wear that day.
Sipping on your drink shyly you dared to speak, "So why have you decided to visit at this time?"
Joseph met your eyes and smiled cheekily, mimicking your drinking motions. "Why would I not? You hold my interest." Flawlessly he brushed aside your pointed question, making you become more and more suspicious. "Oh really? Mr. Joestar just how could a busy nobody such as myself hold your interest?" You became bolder, meeting his somewhat flirtatious gaze head on as you sipped your coffee again. This power move caught him by surprise, however not to the extent you'd have liked. "You're not very generous to yourself are you Ms. (L/n)? You hold my interest because I've seen you around in places I frequent. I find you to be somewhat cute in that aspect. You avoid eye contact when you see me, no?" smirking into his cup he raised an eyebrow waiting for your response. Your jaw tensed slightly, he'd caught you.
You sipped at your cup again, emptying it and setting it down slowly. Bringing a free hand to your temple you rested your back against the chair. "Maybe I have, maybe I haven't. Wouldn't you do the same to someone who you percieved to be out of your reach?" You slightly pouted while you spoke, sensing the energy from Joseph change to something heavier. "Who said I was out of your reach, love? All you had to do was ask me out." He winked at you which sent your heart leaping out of your chest. Determined to keep your composure you kept a poker face. "Good to know, good to know Mr. Joestar." The formalities only formed the building sexual tension, you knew you had to think up an excuse for him to leave and fast. As much as you'd like to mess around with such a gorgeous man you couldn't afford the nosy neighbors to slander your reputation.
"Mister Joestar? Oh please, just call me Joseph. You make me sound older than you." He chuckled at his own terrible joke. You laughed at him slightly and nodded. "Alright then, it's a first name basis I suppose." You stood up to clear both of your now empty cups. Glancing over at the time you noticed to hands had changed to read 7:30pm. "It's getting late, do you need to be leaving soon?" You sashayed past his seat into the kitchen again, leaving a waft of mild perfume in your path. He sighed and stretched out a leg. "I think so, Granny Erina might worry about me if I don't."
You walked back over slowly, resting your hip on your previous seat. "I see. Think you can come visit me again anytime?" Your coy implications made Joseph smile knowingly. "Ask me out to dinner first sweetheart, then we'll see." You laughed at his prudish yet enragingly flirtatious answer. "Alright then I will. Next Tuesday evening around 6:30? Down by the Corner Cafe?" You smiled at him as he stood up and walked him to the door. Ducking under it again he turned to you. "6:30's no good, 7:00 will be though." You nodded and took a mental note. "7:00 it is then, can't wait for it." You waved at him as he strode down the hall. Goddamn he was delicious looking, everything about him made you feel heated. You hummed your approval at making such and catch and went about the rest of your night.
