December 24, 2012

It all started on a chilly night of Christmas eve, Jeon Wonwoo a sixteen-year-old lovely boy with a pair of bad eyesight walked through the busy streets filled with busy people doing their own business for Christmas eve.

Wonwoo was delighted to see the people getting festive in this time around, although he doesn't want to mingle with them, he was just the type of person who likes observing other than doing the real stuff. He was quiet and observant, never really liked the talking, but he is a good listener if you get to meet him well

The streets were bombarded with decorations of each kind, garlands twinkling into different lamposts, Christmas balls hanging on trees, Christmas lights filled each stored and the Christmas spirit from each individual filled the air as he walked past them.

Wonwoo never had a mom and he didn't have the chance to meet his dad, but he stayed in a mansion with his aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives. He was in good hands with the care of his relatives, he was treated right, gave him everything he wanted, but something is just not right.

He never really talked to them, he only talked with his cousins, Jungkook and Somi. Despite being older than them, he managed to treat them like they were the same age.

On the day before Christmas eve, he was told by his aunt to pick up the chocolate cupcakes from the bakery store before Christmas day and Wonwoo nodded because he didn't want his aunt to let Wownoo prison himself in his room every day, Jungkook and Somi insisted to go but Wonwoo said he wanted to go alone.

As he walked through cheery streets on Christmas eve, he saw the familiar sign that says " The Lee's sweet pastry shop", he smiled as he pushed up his glasses and entered the specific shop.

The pastry shop had a very vintage vibe, with a wooden floor, very antique chairs and tables plus Christmas decorations.

"Wonwoo?" said a familiar voice

"Oh Seokmin, hi" Wonwoo plastered his cat-like smile.

"Are you gonna pick up the cupcakes your aunt ordered?" Seokmin asked and Wonwoo nodded politely.

"Alrighty hyung! I'll go get it from the kitchen!" In a blink of an eye, Seokmin was already in the kitchen door entrance.

'Aish this kid, he's really hyper than ever' he thought

Lee Seokmin, a very active fifteen-year-old who works at his family bakeshop, although he and Seokmin were polar opposite, they still manage to get along together. They met each other when Seokmin was new in the area, Seokmin was six and Wonwoo was seven when Seokmin offered ice cream to the older but isn't that the other way around? I mean Wonwoo was supposed to welcome him with an ice cream in hand and not Seokmin, but I guess it just worked differently when it comes to Wonwoo and Seokmin's friendship

Wonwoo waited for a solid minute, looking out in the shop window.

He saw a (very) tall kid who tripped himself into thin air and bumped into a bunch of strangers, Wonwoo snorted at the sight and mentally said to himself 'that kid was stupid'

The kid was now apologizing and the strangers just shook their heads and said it was okay. Like a child, the kid's face lit up and smiled, exposing his canines and fished out a... polaroid camera?

The kid said something to the strangers and they all nodded. The canine boy took multiple pictures of them, didn't even care who they were as long as he took pictures of them resulting many polaroids of each of them to bring home with.

The group strangers once again thanked the kid and waved goodbye to him, he too waved at the group of strangers and beamed at them. Soon enough, the boy stood for a few seconds until he quickly dashed off to where he was nowhere in sight.
