Most of the time, I walk alone to all my classes, but today was different. I had finally found a friend who liked me as me and didn't just want my perfect scores or my well, that is all they find helpful of me, not to mention I am ugly and a nerd.

But today was especially different, I had bumped into the so-called "Bad Boy," and my friend had helped me up after. "Hey, what's your problem?! " He said while brushing off his designer leather jacket. "I'm sorry?"

I said trying to walk past him. It was embarrassing enough that everyone was watching, but he didn't let me leave! "Don't think I will let you off so easily." He scoffed and smirked a little.

"Okay, what do you-" just then the bell had rung. "You're lucky class started or you wouldn't have gotten just a mere beating." He said as he brushed off my shoulder. " Ugh! Could this day get any worse?!"

I had finally made it to my class, greeted with staring. "What!?" I said, then the teacher spoke " Karsen please come to my desk after class, now go take a seat please." About thirty minutes into the class I hear the intercom signal.

"Ms. Parker, please report to the principal's office. x2" I stood up, confused, and walked slowly to the door, once again,  surrounded by staring, but at this point, I didn't care anymore. I quickly left the classroom and walked to the office. When I arrived I saw a leather jacket, ripped jeans, timberland boots and, well obviously, a male. But to tell the story truly and worse, it was "The Bad Boy". apparently I couldn't be bothered.

"Ms. Parker, please take a seat." The principal said as he sat in the huge office chair. "Uhh, sir why did you call me, and her?! today wasn't a very good day for me, especially because she bumped into me!

"Relax Cameron. I have set up a "Study Buddy Program" this year. "Sir, may I ask, what that is?" Well, that's what I am getting to." He said while clicking his pen on the desk. We were confused. "In another way, you two will be partners for this project." He said sternly.

"Wa-what?! Why did you decide to partner us two together?!" Cameron said angrily. "Because Karsen is my best student and you rarely show up to any of your classes Cameron!

"I believe this is the best way to teach you commitment and Karsen to teach, because according to Karsen's extreme capability and determination she wants to be some type of learning source, right?" He said while I was still in shock from hearing "Partnering Up" and me and him being in the same room.

"Karsen, are you okay?" The principal had said the third time.

"Hey, idiot? A-are you okay?" Cameron had said shyly. I turned facing him for a little while. " I-I mean, wait-." He said nervous.

" Uhh, so what is the thingy?" Cameron said regretting his decision to physically say that. " Good question. It is a program where two students group up and both home and school-" Cameron cut him off " Home AND school?! what is going on in your mind?" Cameron said.

"Don't worry, you will have to send a parent or guardian to supervise. I won't just send two high school kids in a room alone, who knows what could happen?" He said scoffing. "Anyways you are dismissed." He said while in the process of standing up.

" W-wait! Does anyone else know about this program? Why were we the only two who got individual notice? I have so many questions!" Karsen said while in a panic.

"Well, when does this project start?" Cameron said. " Maybe in a week or less if the message gets through fast enough." The principal said.

"Wait we have to tell the people?!" Karsen said in a panic once again.

"Yeah?" He said like it was no big deal, even though there are more than 300 people in this school yet only two students to get the message around.
