"Well it's up to Monika." Sayori decided, glancing beside her. "What do you think-.."

She expected a taller girl to be standing beside her, but instead, she saw air. A blank slate. "Monika?" She questioned, glancing around her.

The others seemed to have caught on rather quickly, as they were scanning their eyes around the cafeteria.

"Where'd she go?" Natsuki asked, looking around her.

"I don't know." Sayori admitted, worriedly glancing back at the pinkette.

"It's not like her to leave us like that.." Yuri mumbled, playing with her hair with her fingers nervously.

Natsuki groaned. "How can we lose track of a girl with a giant white ribbon in her hair?!"

"Maybe she's waiting in line?" Sayori suggested, and the three girls began to join the small food line at the front of the room.

They looked around, but to no avail, they didn't see her. Still, they picked up their red trays and set their plates on top of them, and waited for their own food.

Sayori's eyes drifted over the red cushioned seats and wooden tables as she waited for the student in front of her to finish getting their food, and move down the line.

Her eyes came back to Natsuki as the smaller girl gasped, watching a older student walk past her with her tray, some cooked fish on her plate.

"They have fish?" Natsuki asked hungrily, her eyes following the older students as they walked further away and to their own table.

"Apparently." Yuri responded.

"I want some!" Natsuki chirped. "I want all the fish!"

Sayori laughed lightly. "Calm down! Why do you want fish all of a sudden?"

Natsuki licked her lips excitedly. "Fish is just so juicy and good." She paused, blinking at herself in surprise. "Actually, I have no clue."

"Well you are part cat!" Sayori exclaims, giggling. "Maybe that's why!"

"Huh." Natsuki shrugged. "Could be."

Natsuki then turned to face Yuri. "What, what do wolfs eat?"

Yuri shook her head. "Sure, there's a lot of meat here, but I can handle it."

Natsuki scoffed. "Show off. I'll show you that I can handle being around fish just fine!"

Sayori laughed, finally able to move down the line. But really, her mind rested on the missing brunette. Where had she gone? Is she okay?

Sayori remembered the time she had to go and look for Monika, and with the help of a bird, found her sleeping. But there weren't any birds here to show her where she was.

A feeling of nervousness plopped down in Sayori's stomach, and the girl looked around anxiously. Something just wasn't right..

And right before she was about to walk down the line again near the famous steak, she stopped; hearing a loud commotion of things falling and breaking from behind the double metal doors that held the kitchen.

The three girls glanced at each other nervously before their eyes settled on the doors quickly slamming open, chefs wearing white coats and hats running out in panic.

All of them screamed, the students now looking to the front of the room curiously as the chefs ran out. One tall man with brown hair, eyes, and a curly moustache held a piece steak in his hands, stopping in front of the counter.
