"Girl did you see that Justin came back to school?" one of my classmates in first period asked me

"Rivera?" I replied to her question "yeah, he's in the office right now I couldn't stay long enough to know his schedule" she told me

Instead of replying to her I started writing on my paper.

"Welcome back Rivera.. sit in the front for me" my teacher said causing me to look up from my paper seeing Justin. He looked different.. his curly hair that he had freshman year was now waves, he got taller , he didn't have his braces either.

"Why I can't pick my own seat?" Justin argued "Justin please, it's your first day back I don't want any problems" my teacher told him.

I sat in the middle of the class, I hated sitting in the front. I only sat in the front of I needed to.

I hated the back too, that's where the loud ignorant ass kids sit at.

I noticed he looked at me before sitting in a random seat in the front of the classroom. I wondered if he remembered me? I took my iPhone 8 Plus to text my twin sister and I got a notification from Instagram.

"Kiara phone away" my teacher said

"sorry" I replied letting her start on her lesson.

After School

I waited at the entrance for my sister, Jasmine. She always took her precious time like it wasn't cold outside and bitches was all over Justin already.

"You staring at him hard ashell love" Jasmine said walking up to me making me laugh "bitch shut up" I told her as I went to the Lyft app.

I hated the traffic in Brooklyn afterschool, this shit killed me.

When the Lyft came I looked over at Justin one more time before getting in the car. "He followed me earlier in first period" I told jasmine

"Did you follow him back?" She asked
I shook my head no. "Not yet, and plus my teacher told me to put the phone away" I told her

"Girl if you wanna fuck with him, just tell him that" she said which made me look at her like she was crazy.

"Girl hell no.. he got a lot going on for himself right now, he don't need me as a distraction and I also have shit to work on." I said looking out the window

"Kiara please ! I know for a fact you over that damn heartbreak" Jasmine said making me role my eyes.

"I just have trust issues and ion wanna be in no relationship always worried bout if they doing some funny shit behind my back" I unlocked my phone as we reached infront of my house.

"Thank you" me and Jasmine said as we got out the car "follow him back" she said walking in the house

"I am.. later though. I'm sleepy" I told her making my way to my room. I kicked off my crocs and hung my bookbag on the doorknob and shut the door, I took my hoodie off and laid down on my bed getting comfortable to take a nap.
