A black jaguar was dragging a caiman back to the den with her sister in the rain.  They were heading towards their prowl.

"Thank Yaguara for this rain," the second jaguar said.  "We got a caiman much faster this time."

"I kno-oh!" the first jaguar almost slipped on the mud.  "Except for that."

"Just use your claws, Nad," the second jaguar said.  "It's not that hard."

"It seems to be," Nad responded.  "Still don't know why you won't take the position of leader."

"Because you're better than me," the second jaguar responded.  "You're faster, stronger, and smarter."

"You'd be able to do it," Nad told her sister.  "Just believe in yourself, Cena."

"No, Nadara," Cena responded.  "I'm only second-in-command."

Nadara opened her mouth, then closed it as she felt water lap over her paws.  "We aren't close to the coast, are we?"

"No, why?" Cena asked.

"Look," Nadara looked down.  Cena followed her sister's gaze.

"Drop the caiman!" she exclaimed.  "Get to the trees!"

Nadara complied, running to the trees, stumbling over logs, Cena right beside her.  They jumped up to the trees together, Nadara only getting one paw on.  Cena climbed up gracefully before seeing Nadara struggling to climb up.

"Use your tail!" she held out a paw, which Nadara grabbed.  "You can do it."

"No," Nadara shook her head.  "It's too high up.  I'm going to fall."

"Nadara, trust in yourself," Cena urged.  "Just try."

Nadara pulled herself up, but slipped as she did and hit her head.  She could feel her consciousness fading.  I guess this is it.  She looked up to Cena, her vision doubling.

"You're the leader of the prowl now, Cen," she said.

"No, Nad, hang in there!" Cena crouched to strike, but Nadara gave a weak laugh.

"Don't move," she said.  "We can't having both of us missing."

If Cena said anything else, she didn't hear it.  Her vision faded to black, and she lost all feeling.
